  1. Hi everyone, I am a college student who is home and I have been doing a lot of freeskiing along with some course skiing when I have the chance. I have a 1999 RLX that we drive by hand and I am now looking for a perfect pass system. I am wondering which one I should get while still keeping the cost down. I know that the StarGazer system is a lot better but right now (unless I somehow find a used Stargazer system) I think I would probably end up buying a used Classic PP system. The question is would it be cheaper to just buy StarGazer now rather then getting Classic and then upgrading to Stargazer 2 to 3 years down the road. I want to ski the course more but it isn't the easiest thing to do right now without speed control. Please let me know what you think and if you have seen any used systems up for sale!
  2. Does anyone know this dimension? Looking to get a new cooler for parents and the boat is all packed away. Couldn't find it online after searching around for a while. Thanks!
  3. @skihacker what would be the main differences between the wakeboard and 3 event versions of perfect pass?
  4. Hi everyone, Earlier this year I went in 50/50 with my dad and got our first ski boat. The boat has been everything we could have asked for as we go out and enjoy it at the lake at least once a week. The one thing I wish the boat had was perfect pass system so that my dad would have a little bit easier time maintaining a constant speed while driving. My family is new to boating and I am teaching them a lot but would also like the speed control so that we can take the boat through a course. I am looking at options for a perfect pass system. I have found that a brand new system plus tax is going to cost around $1500, which is a bit out of my budget. I was wondering where I should look for a used system that would be quite lower in price. If I were to piece together a complete set what are all the necessary parts that I need to track down? I am in no rush, just want to explore some options. Thanks!
  5. Hi everyone, I am a beginning skier who can run 3.5 at 15 off and 28mph and would like to improve before going back to college. I do not have access to a course but routinely go out to the lakes and ski with family and friends all morning on the weekends. I was wondering what drills or other things I could do to improve my slalom course skills while just free skiing on glassy lake. Thanks for all suggestions!
  6. @gt2003 thanks for the comment but I actually just bought a boat. Good luck with the sale!
  7. @sunvalleylaw I actually got this boat with under 400 hours on it!
  8. @Chef23 paid half now, owe other half + interest in years to come.
  9. Thanks for all the input, I appreciated all the help that I received. I recently found and purchased a 99 response lx this week and could not be any happier! I am not quite sure how to add photos but the boat is extremely clean!
  10. 62 degree water at course on Mission Bay in San Diego yesterday. No wetsuit needed!
