  1. I've been searching for a love seat extension for some time and have not had any luck. There's got to be one sitting around somewhere that is not being used.... Anybody out there have one? Doesn't really mater on the colors or the condition because at this point rebuilding an existing one seems to be the best option vs. potentially starting fabrication from scratch. Research tells me that they were the same from 2010 to 2018 and then in 2019 the boat changed to a molded fiberglass design under the observer area and center/walk-through piece. Does this sound accurate? At this time I believe that the only available parts to be found are the hinges.... Anybody out there that can help?
  2. @Sedge Curious how testing went on the bent handle design?
  3. @Horton @ColeGiacopuzzi Would you guys say the measurement technique for the Syndicate/Edge hardshell would be the same technique as the current Vapor boot or more similar to the Reflex mentioned above?
  4. Official distance does not exist is what I was told.... Our floating course, EZ-Slalom, was 7' 6" from center to center between turn buoy and intermediate buoy. When we installed our new surveyed course we placed them 10" wider from centerline. Still waiting for feedback from the beginners but I feel that this helps with getting the ski to roll on its edge vs. steering/pointing it and it's not so close to the outer balls that they are in the way. You can always go just to the inside of the intermediate as well... Our thought is just to dive down and move the anchors if it's not what we really want.
  5. Doing some research on permanent anchored course installation and I need some help. 1. Edbrazil had spoke of an "Anchor Wanker" but the posts that I found no longer contain photos. Can anyone help by sharing either; an actual photo, a creative illustration, or paint me a good mental picture using words? 2. Where is the best place to source crab bouys to be used as sub's? I found them on West Marine and I imagine they are probably as competitive as most at $5.29 each but thought I would ask. 3. Lastly, I'm looking for a plastic hook that could be used from the surface bouy line to connect at the sub bouy that could serve as a good break away point if the surface bouy line was to be grabbed somehow by lake debris, fisherman, or a random Wally out there. Our anchors will be about 100 pounds and submerged into silt at a depth of around 12'. I have a picture of this hook that I'm trying to find but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to upload a .png or .jpeg. Only option is to insert an image that comes from a URL and the problem is that I can't find this particular hook on the internet.
  6. @C5Quest I am... I was on the 2020 with the original Whisper Fin until Delta Airlines broke the ski last Thanksgiving.
  7. I purchased the WF Pro over the winter and ran several sets at the beginning of the season on the original WF before switching as I wanted to make sure I had some clean sets first in the early season so I could really feel the change. The difference was noticeable on the first pass! @mbabiash - 100% agree with the holding power of the tail compared to the original version. As advertised by @SkiJay great work!
  8. @Bbrandau what ski were you on previously? I'm on a 2018 and leaning hard towards the 2020. I'm thinking I need to size down though because I've been on 68" and I've lost some pounds. Weighing 192 today... was about 220 when I started with the 68". Feels like I'm on the verge of blowing out the ski a lot of times. Sometimes I do but I'm sure my form comes into play as well when this happens. I ski 34 and have ran into 35 off a handful of times this season.
  9. Thanks for all of the feedback! I spend most of the time pulling skiers at 34mph anywhere from 22-35 off. The most annoying time is when it's just me pulling my wife at 30mph but I don't expect to completely solve that problem because I'm not looking to through that many bags in the boat. I will probably experiment with some dumbbells first. Hopefully 2 bags will do the trick.
  10. Looking for advise to correct listing when there is only a driver in the boat. Even though the effect of the wake seems negligible to the skier it annoys me to have the boat listing while there is only a drive and no passenger in the boat. Obviously the listing is worse when pulling skiers at slower speeds... The obvious solution is the lead wake bags that are 50 pounds a piece but not sure how many I may need and what others have done. I've seen guys at the ski schools run a plastic gas can with lead or steel shot in them. Any advise on what others are doing would be greatly appreciated.
