  1. @6balls running perfect pass at 32 mph in the course and 34 when free skiing!
  2. @BraceMaker Now that is something I have never thought of.
  3. I was only a recreational skier until Just over 2 years ago when I met my Ski Partner @VONMAN . Now I am really excited and addicted, 3 weeks ago I took my first shot at the course! With a little extra coaching from my partner, I was able to complete 6 balls at 15 off the first day. We have been on the course 7 different days now, I complete 15 off about 50% of the time, I am stoked. I have taken a few shots at 22 off, and so far my PB is 4 at 22 off. I know I have a long way to go, but truly am a course junkie now!! I have to give a Thank You to Vonman for the past 2 years of coaching and just being a great ski partner!!
  4. I love my Eagle, fits like a glove and floats me comfortably.
  5. I love my Eagle, fits like a glove and floats me comfortably.
  6. Congrats on getting your first tug!! Gotta love it
  7. crap that is crazy stuff..I also hope that he is ok.
  8. I live in Florida, and I would always want to see the boat in person before pulling the trigger. When I bought mine used here in Florida, I had looked at many. The sun here does crazy damage to just about everything, adding that we can basically ski and use the boats here all year long. Just my Floridian opinion.
  9. @A_B I feel it tracks like crazy as well, in my opinion it does smear less. .However to me the easier wide cast out is a fair trade off.
  10. That is so cool you had that opportunity, memories are made on the water.
  11. Glad you did not get hurt, I know how you feel, been a while for me, but I had an OTF this morning..definitely keeps you humble.
  12. Really like my Eagle, fits great, and floats comfortably.
  13. Went skiing today with my ski partner @vonman (Ernie). After seeing him ride my 68" Quest with the CG fin, I stood in the boat pondering if I should take it for a ride or not. Being that i was happy with the standard fin so I thought. I did give in to Ernie and said yes I will give it a go. It was set up as he stated above. My reaction immediately after my first ride 28 off with a pumping fist in the air then pointed at Ernie and said simply WOW!! 32 and 35 off was just as AMAZING. Hit the turn, easy to keep speed, back to the handle with nice angle and away you go like you are hooked to the water, getting wide and maintaining a tight line has just become way way easier for me. What a huge confidence boost and just flat out fun, say hi to my new found friend the CG fin!!!
  14. Congrats on your son going to college, and still remaining in the sport, at Clemson no less! Gotta love that! I am sure there will be times he will come home and you guys will get in some skiing, making more memories than you already have. I have been very fortunate, I was sitting on the back of my I/O and saw this guy ripping up the lake and throwing huge walls of water. I was a recreational skier at the time, and I said to myself "I want to ski like that guy!" He happened to come to shore where I was beached, and now 1 and a half years later of skiing with my primary ski buddy @VONMAN on a regular basis, (all year long here in Fl.) I am swerving like I never have before! I even bought my first ski tug this year.
  15. I love this, die hard or not it is always FUN to get out on the water, no matter how I ski..I give you and A+.
  16. 71 degrees and sunny here in Central Florida today, water temp in the 70s as well, so @VONMAN and I happily got our swerve on!
  17. @ELDIABLO I sorta know how you feel, I have been back on my stick over a month now, after breaking 3 metatarsal bones in my right foot (RFF) from a twisting fall after hitting something in the water. It has been kinda a long road, set me back for a while. Have slowed things down a bit behind the boat but working hard on getting back at it. Don't cut yourself short, you never know how far you can go.
  18. @Than_Bogan Could not agree more, I really enjoyed seeing Auburn upset the Tide! Lets hope the committee sees the same thing we do. Now it is on to Atlanta for the SEC championship! Roll Tide no more! B)
  19. @Bill22 Last year I got my first good ski, D3 Quest. It took me quite a while to understand the "Less Movement" as you say, and thanks to the help of a good friend @VONMAN I am slowly getting my technique turned into muscle memory which I believe leads to consistancy.
  20. @TEL I agree with skibrain, LOL..a shorty really..Just messin with ya..I live and Ski in Ocala, Fl..water feels great this time of year, it sure beats the bathtub water we get in the summer!
  21. Just smooth ..WOW..nothing more than WOW!
  22. @LoopSki That's the truth, I love my D3 Quest, But I would love to add an ARC to my Quiver someday!
