  1. @MNshortliner - If you check the diagnostics screen, it will show whether or not the pucks are working. If I recall correctly, the error will read " GPS1 Fail or GPS2 Fail" if you have a faulty puck.
  2. Plus another one for Tower Biminis. I have one on my 2007 196 and it is of excellent quality - went with the straps because I don't like the looks of the pole mounts. When properly tensioned, there is zero flapping. I would also recommend the stainless bows as opposed to the standard aluminum. They are more rigid and resistant to wear.
  3. Try Collinite 920 Fiberglass Boat Cleaner - it is gentle on the fiberglass, but works very well on scuffs, mars, etc.
  4. I previously owned a 2000 Air Nautique, which I am sure you are aware is the same hull as the Sport Nautique. Went from that to a 2007 Ski Nautique 196 and immediately noticed the wake at slalom speeds 28-34 was quite a bit smaller and softer on the 196. So, to answer your question, the 196 is much different wake-wise than the Sport - a lot more friendly. If slalom is your primary use for the boat, I would definitely recommend staying with a 196.
  5. Anybody have feedback on the CG Classic after some significant use this season?
  6. Have you considered a hybrid rear toe plate? That may be an easier transition. I went from double boots to a Radar HRT - tried that for one season and then switched to a Reflex hard shell with their R Style rear. I have been on that set up for the past two seasons, really like it and have no plans to change.
  7. The picture in the initial post looks much different than skijay’s fin on the finwhispering site. Is the initial pic a skijay prototype? Or are we looking at two new fins?
  8. How about a brand new 65"?
