  1. I agree with everything, similar to the Pro, but easier on the body especially at slower speeds 32 mph and 34 mph. But I'm the only one here for whom the ski works better especially with the off side turn with more long shallow settings 68" Binding stock 30.50" Fin: 6.920, 2470, 0.795.
  2. As I understand and compare the Ski specs and the images on the HO Website, the Omni Wide is nothing else or quite similar than the renamed last 2020/2021 Freeride version.
  3. @Andre - Oil pump problems (apparently it broke some engines, we were lucky), timing belt pulley sounds very loud like a sewing machine, frequent sensor error messages, middle seat poor design, driver's seat adjustment bad, towing mast creaks. The boat is louder inside than the old 200s (Sea Deck?) Sensitive to lateral seat distribution in the boat (wake) The maneuverability is really better compared to the old ones and I like the dash software design with the Helm Command really. Nautiqes are really good to drive
  4. Defently not, we have also switched from a 2013 SN200 to a 2020 SN200, beside poor quality the wake feels a bit harder to me than the old SN200 wake and far away from the old SN196 wake especially at 32/34 22 off.
  5. Little update, after the discussion here I just rode my 66 Syndicate Omega Max at 34 mph and was really surprised by the ski. Despite my current 195 lbs, I hardly needed any more power than with my 68 Pro, the turns were rounder and more symmetrical and the off site also better than with the Omega I had in 2020, a really good round ski. Now I'm still spoiled for choice between Omega 68 and Omega Max 67, which unfortunately I can only buy here in Europe without trying them first. For 34 mph both skis will definitely work and I'm leaning towards Omega MAX 67 , but for 32 mph wich i need to ski at the beginning of the season I would like to know which one might provide a little more lift before I spend a lot of money on a new ski again.
  6. Thanks for your answers, of course I also know the differences from the HO videos and some personell experience. Finnaly my question was more about finding out which ski is better suited for my weight of 195 lbs between 32 mph 15 off up to 34 mph 28 off than the Syndicate Pro 68, the Omega MAX 67 or Omega 68 which I could get immediately or wait for the Omega MAX 68.
  7. I'm on a 68 Syndicate Pro (Mk2) 190lbs and we're skiing deep slow water and I'm struggling to get space as the water gets warmer. Interesting to know how the difference between the 68 Pro (which feels more like a '67 ski) and the 67 Omega MAX is. (the '68 doesn't seem to be available)
  8. @owennibley- wich size you are on 67 or 68 ? I orderded a 68 at Miami Nautiques last November and they send me a 66 (to Germany) and I'm also arround 190 lbs ski 34 mph (15-28 off) at the moment have not tried the ski so far because i think it is way to small. Try to resale it if someone is interested in Europe for 1100 Euro absolutely unused.
  9. 1. Chose the right Ski for your speed weight relation> for 32mph such like Omni, Senate, Connely V or if you are not heavy like me a high end ski ski size where you are in the lower weight range. 2. Don remove the wing but set it it flat if you don't need the drag like in Formular 1. I Ski on my Omni at 32 with 5 degree and at 34 and shorter line with 7-8 degree and I notice the difference for sure. Removing the wing changes the turn behavior. It depends ho your ski glides at the speed you ski on. Also the lower the speed the less the wing works, so at lower speed below 30 it might not make any difference.
  10. Has anyone out there been skiing on the Syndicate Pro for a while and now switched to the new Pro? The Syndicate Pro was my best ski so far especially for my often bad off site turn but I was just a little too heavy for it. I would be interested in how the new Pro is different or whether it is very similar to the old one.
  11. 67 Omega MAX !! also 67 Omni or Senate but they might be to big for you at the shortest line length's
  12. Depends on your weight, speed an line length. I'm 205lb, speed 32-34,15-28 off. Was on a Syndicate Omni 69 - perfect for 30-32 mph but too big for 34+, moved to a 68 Syndicate Pro by accident - improved a lot in buy count, loved this ski, best off site ever but needed to much physical effort. Switched to an 68 Omega- yes much less effort at 34mph but still to much effort for 32 an no better buy count at all. Switched now back to Syndicate Omni 67 and size feels perfect for 34 and light enough for my opening pass at 32.
  13. I am a 32/34 mph 15 to 28 off skier and we own a new 2020 Nautique 200 in our club . In addition to some quality problems (engine has to be changed due to a defective oil pump, steering loose, wedge belt makes noises, the SN200 has a very unpleasant wake especially at 22 off. Beside that it drives very well straight trough the course. I had the opportunity this summer to drive and ski behind a Carbon Nautique and was so surprised that not only the quality of this boat is much better but also the wake in the speed and line length range where I ski feels flatter and much softer than behind the SN200 and also the SN196 witch was the best boat for me until. At 34/15 the wake is just as soft that it no longer bothers and also the 15 off buckle is clear reduced. So I think this Boat would help to bring me back to the level I was 10 years before since after the more than 6 Month winter break we have I'm stuck every year in the 15-22 off hole for too long before I can shorten to the 28 off. So from my own experience the Nautique is drive, quality and wake wise a superb boat but the epic fail on that story is here in Europe it costs minimum 140,000 dollars and we as a club cannot afford it. We actually where interested after 30 years with Nautique to buy a Mastercraft but the dealer was unable to make an acceptable offer to us.
  14. However, for a 200-210 lbs. 32-34/22 skier like me, a 68 Omega Max would definitely be a win. The gap between 69 Omni and 68 Omega is still large and loosing weight does not work :'( . So I would like to have a 68 Omni or better a 68 Omega Max o:)
