  1. No need to get that specific. Air Canada hates everyone as a business. Individuals who work for AC are usually lovely.
  2. @DW yeah I could leave the bow cover on, but often need to get up there for anchoring when we are out for the day. It would cool to have something to walk on. I’m not seriously thinking this idea would become a reality, but just thought it would be neat.
  3. Okay so no one rides in the bow of my RLx anyways, so this isn’t a big deal for me, but it got me thinking about being able to put on some sort of attachable hard cover like the pro stars. Probably wouldn’t be cheap, but it would be cool if someone could engineer a design that attached to the bow rail.
  4. Once again I feel compelled to say this. If you are over your tow capacity (according to the manufacturer) and you get in any kind of an accident, your insurance company will most likely hang you out to dry.
  5. Our old club boat is for sale. Price is in CDN. 06 SN 196 https://www.kijiji.ca/v-powerboat-motorboat/calgary/2006-ski-nautique-196/1665015537
  6. Need: no want: yes can afford: no. good luck with the sale.
  7. Thinking about doing this to my RLX this year. Anyone just put it on the plastic that’s there already?
  8. Hey @Reider I’m in Calgary too. Where are you boating mostly?
  9. If I had any money for a new boat, I would buy this tomorrow.
  10. For nostalgic reasons, which ski would you unapologetically (and perhaps irrationally) defend? I loved my Connelly Concept.
  11. I have a 2000 RLX and I’m moving mine to my tower. When I sit up in the captains chair, I can’t see over the port side of the bow because the mirror is in the way.
  12. At our lake, we have fuel at our park. It’s like a hotel where you just write down how much and your site number. Most of the time when I get my bill, my friends have paid for every second tank of fuel. At our club, we pay $500/year and $7/set.
  13. @BraceMaker yeah that seems to be the case right now. I thought for sure someone would use it when it came out but nothing yet. Seems like it would be really practical for those of us who use our boats in open water more often. If I ever have to re-power my RLX and that’s an option, for sure that’s what I’d go with.
  14. Does this mean we’re going to see the eco boost in a ski boat?
  15. Speed, rope length, general lack of experience and ability in the course…
  16. @Ski_Dad fair enough. Yeah. Keep ‘em small.
  17. @Ski_Dad is it a superficial skin pain? Or is it more internal?
  18. @Mastercrafter ha ha. I put good stuff on. Apparently the aforementioned squirrel thought it was so good that he’d rip it off the trailer and make a nest out of it.
  19. Hey all. What is the least expensive place to get bunk carpet? I just replaced mine a couple of years ago and need to do it again. On a related note, what is the best way to cook squirrel? One lil fella is going to be meeting the business end of the .22.
