  1. Hands down the MC prostar would be the best boat. The wake is great at all speeds and you'll have newer technology. We have had nothing but good luck with ours
  2. Tom (Doc) Strong-The University of Alabama Water Ski Coach He is the most deserving individual I could think of to be in the NCWSA Hall of Fame
  3. We bought our boat without the the ski racks and had the dealer install them afterwards, it wasn't a big deal.
  4. We had the same thing happen to our ILMOR last year. We ordered the pump from our MasterCraft dealer. I would play it safe and get one from a MasterCraft dealer.
  5. The gas gauges in the ProStars aren't the most accurate. Anytime mine gets below a half a tank I fill it to be on the safe side. The dealer also told me when filling the tank shut the battery switch off and the gauge should reset if it wasn't working properly.
  6. Whatever @Chris Rossi and the folks at Radar did with this ski, it works! I'm skiing the best I ever have on this ski
  7. I do have it folded down, I was looking to remove the whole thing from the boat to make it easier to clean/teak.
  8. I have a 2016 Prostar with a "removable" platform, but I can't for the life of me figure out how it slides out of the brackets. I've removed the pins and the two bolts on the brackets, but it still doesn't want to slide out. Is there something I'm missing here or any tricks people have tried? I want to take it off and get a couple coats of teak oil on it before putting it in the water.
  9. I graduated from Alabama in 2015 and I could not have asked for a better experience as a collegiate skier or just a normal skier for that matter. @LLUSA has an incredible site and was very accommodating to the team. From the time I started my freshman year to now the team has only continued to get better. Skiing aside it was also the best college experience you could ever have. And we have a pretty good football team too...
  10. Finally got mine last weekend! If only the season wasn't coming to an end so quickly up here in New England
  11. I see both sides of the argument here. I grew up going to tournaments and loved every second of it. I always wanted to get better because I was skiing against all of my friends which created an awesome environment of friendly competition and we all progressed quickly. Tournament skiing led me to skiing in college where I made life long friends and got to travel all over. Lately I have not skied many tournaments as I just find more enjoyment going out and skiing for fun not chasing a score or the ranking list. I think saying practice scores don't count is a little on the harsh side, but there is certainly a difference between practice and tournament scores.
  12. Are you removing the course after each use or keeping it in for extended periods of time? We have an insta-slalom that stays in for the whole summer and we use the anchors like the ones that came with your course. They work great, we just have to tighten the course 1-2 times a season to keep the line tight.
