  1. May want to hurry up and order it , so you get by Fourth of July 2018 ! Lol
  2. Not sure what you mean by dry camp waterski site. Are you looking for a ski lake to camp out at and run the course ? Or a public lake ? The delta , not near so cal though , may suit you. It will be a zoo on Labor Day !
  3. Some of my previous boats have had a zipper in the Bimini to accommodate a skylon. With the unique characteristics of the new ProStar Bimini top I am worried to have a whole cut and zipper sewed in. Concerns that it will potentially SAG or not be as tight as it is now . Anyone have cut a hole for a skylon in the new ProStar Bimini ?
  4. Someone call Trump to override this decision!
  5. Decided to bring the Jet Ski instead. Went out Sunday and it was insane !! I never seen such chaos on public water. Went back on Monday and it was much better. Was sad to hear they no longer do the waterski show at Seaworld. Was hoping my kids could see it. Tried to go by the course but the 5 mile zone was long and my daughter got impatient. Wife and kids had a blast , that's the important thing. Having a great trip and sad to leave. Next time maybe I'll try and catch a set.
  6. Anyone else burning their leg on the chrome trim piece on the prostar dog house ? It looks good but yikes!
  7. Sounds like you need to get yourself a portable and a crew !
  8. @bonehead , you boneheaded reading his post !
  9. Sacramento area sounds like a great fit. Plenty of waterski lakes/clubs to join and areas to enjoy your other interests. Plus a good solid 8 months of wetsuit free skiing.
  10. Deep down I dont think the seller wants to sell it! @swc5150
  11. This one looks promising? http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Jr_Equip&postid=36914
  12. Looking for an economical ski fot my daughter. Didnt really see anything on SIA. So likely just get something new. Don't want to spend a mint in case she doesn't like it. She is however enjoying two skis. They are the HO trainers with no rear boot and too small for her.
  13. I'm confused on location of hockey puck. I haven't checked yet but I'm pretty sure there is nothing under the rear seat on the passenger side. Are you referring to a new prostar?
  14. @swc5150 plus you only have 13 hours !
  15. Highly doubt that ! The goofy gas gauge is too easy to overlook for how awesome the boat is.
  16. Dropped my iPhone 6plus in a large public hot tub. Jets got ahold of it and it swirled around and took me about 30 seconds to retrieve. This was a few months ago. Also writing this on that phone.
  17. Lol it does sound complex. I thought it was a stick with a float in there.
  18. Well mine today did this today . Launched boat into our lake. Typical tournament waterski lake. Parked at my dock. Gauge read 1/4 tank. Added about 2 gallons. Upon boat restart , gauge went straight to full . Pulled one set and still reading full.
  19. Sounds like it common issue and I'll just deal with. Love the boat so much I can overlook it. I'll just keep a mental log to keep track. 5 gals should run close to an hour.
  20. Unfortunately you can't see through the gas tank. The color of the plastic is too dark to see the level. At least with my eyes
  21. Anyone else experiencing a faulty gas gauge reading on the new prostars ? I've heard around the dock this is a common problem and not worth getting it looked at . First time I noticed it was on a public lake when we were camping . Boat was full when I brought it there. Read emptied the next morning then I thought someone had just siphoned it out from the public dock . Got the boat home and put it in our lake gas gauge went right up to full again . Now it seems to be running on empty right around a quarter tank reading. Last weekend on the Delta I had to be real careful . The labyrinth of sloughs in rivers with the pretty good current . I gave it about a three hour engine time before rushing to fill it up again . Put on about 10 hours on the motor and likely never ran out to empty. At home it's not a big deal , however a bit worry some out on public water. Anyone know what the actual engine time per tank should be or gph. ?
  22. Keep in mind that to achieve that 20 minute goal you will need 3 people. Can be done with two but not in 20 minutes.
  23. Stupidly decided to do some footin off the boom over the 4th July weekend. Took a couple bad falls , woke up with some mild rib pain. Took 4 days off and felt pretty good on Friday. All it took was two passes and I was done. What was mild has now turned into constant pain. Think I'll be out for two weeks now darn it !
  24. Not ideal , but I've seen it done on the cheap replacing bouys with 2 liter bottles with glow sticks inside.
