  1. I still have at least 11 more years with my ski buddy. He prefers wake boarding for now. I’m just happy he goes out with me.
  2. The price of new skis is ridiculous
  3. I never had anything to terrible but did have complete radio failure twice. Somewhat uneasy coming in to land. After the second time I bought a handheld.
  4. Sounds like a you really want a 200 and looking good reasons to justify it! Lol. Just get one !
  5. If it's a specific Malibu question , I would ask on themalibucrew.com. But yes you would need ballast as well.
  6. I have no experience with them but I have seen many wake shaper systems that attach to the hull by suction. There is a video with a new prostar producing a decent wave somewhere on the dark web.
  7. Well it didn't rate so well in Hot dogging . Better take that into consideration !
  8. I have 17' prostar I ordered new in spring which I love btw. Few weeks ago I noticed a creaking soun from pylon. Grabbed pylon and it felt sturdy. Since I am usually the one driving I Couldn't see if it moved at all. I pretty much assumed it was that plastic spinner piece that was just creaking during a pull. Rode Passenger the other day and I could really see the pylon moving. So much so that it made me a little nervous. After the set I grabbed the pylon and again it felt really sturdy. Obviously I am not putting nearly as much pressure load as a skier would. Is it possible for the pylon to be flexing ? I got assume is just a loose but it does have me wondering . Boat has just over 100 hours on it .
  9. We had one out on our lake last summer. Ran out of lake real fast and ended up on shore on the other end. It was so ridiculously loud.
  10. Wish I could help , but I tossed out the one we had. The lake didn't work out as we could not get the weeds under control. Cost to treat was not worth it as it had in flow and out flow. So the problem would have never gone away. Anyhow hope someone else comes along with something for you.
  11. The market on the current cp has got to be more limited. The other 3 you are likely to also see out in the wild. But a cp not so much. My MC has doubled as a great public lake family boat and private lake ski tug. Worth the extra $ to me.
  12. I'm pretty sure 99% of buyers care about upholstery and gel coat !
  13. I had 1999 in great shape with 1800 hours. i was asking around $9999. No action. Trade it in for less. This was last spring. I think your gonna have a hard time since its faded and needs skins on top of high hours.
  14. http://www.pop-products.com/our-products.html
  15. Not sure if anyone else with new generation MC has had letters fall off. I lost my left side of M and the T. I think barefoot boom spray may have had something to do with it. Maybe the spray hit the letters causing them to break loose. Either way not the best scenario with the adhesive. As an industry adhesive sales rep I used my own supply to re attach. They will never come off now with out a piece of the hull. Why does MC use sub par adhesive in lettering . Not just limited to MC. My letters fell off on my Malibu rlxi too.
  16. If you stay 1995 and under on the MC. No comparison .
  17. Yours is doing what mine does . If you read my post a few posts back. Although yesterday I took it all the way down to empty. I had just put 4 gals in and so I knew I had enough for a few sets.
  18. Mine still fails here and there. Usually happens when it gets really low , the needle shoots up to full. As long as it stays over 1/4 it seems to stay accurate
  19. Request a copy of cc&r , should cover most of what you need.
  20. 155 hours on 12 year old boat ! Yikes.
