  1. I would love to have one of these. Hate gas cans. But at $5500 its to steep for me . I'm thinking the high price tag is to make it legal. Maybe ill make one gasdingo.com
  2. This one is turnkey with GT40 engine and Perfect Pass. Not an open bow , but its pretty sweet. You can ski it yourself . Located in Sacramento. 1980 MC
  3. why is a 2019 Cessna 172 cost so much. The airframe hasnt changed much . Avoinics are much more advanced now days. But its still costs close to $400k. Is it that much more costly to build than a brand new Nautique? Or do they not sell enough to keep cost down.
  4. looks great ! Id like even better if it said ski nautique .
  5. Awesome boat , you will love as I do mine. Similar color scheme
  6. Not your lake but to your house. Just checking if anyone knows of any low cost DIY water treatment. we're extremely hard water but the real problem is the amount of iron. house came with a water softener and some iron tanks. system was about 10 years old wasn't functioning properly .so I had some companies come out and bid me to replace a system with something better. bids from anywhere from $4500- $9,000 . settled on a system from Culligan. they insisted that their new water softening system was enough to handle the iron without adding iron tanks. I was very skeptical and after about 7 months I have been right. they've been out about six times to maintain it and clean it out. this last trip out they ended up taking the system out of the home because it was unrepairable at the home. the iron causes stained laundry, ruins fixtures and low water pressure. tell him I don't want it put back in without adding the iron removal tanks. but I can't get an answer from him I can't get a price I don't know why it's so hard to get anything from this company. so now I'm just checking to see if there's anything else out there that I can just buy and install myself that won't break the bank.
  7. Mike Champion Actually I don't know , I just remember hearing the name thrown around many yesrs ago
  8. Im overdue for a new stick. Still on my 2012 X7 . Not only old but its beat up. I also need to size up from a 65 to a 66. Id like to spend no more than $500 which I think puts me in a Helix 2 range. Should I up my budget to $800 and go for a newer ARC or Evo? Will newer ski be that much better? Im just a hack 15-28.
  9. There are are two sites that I know of in Northern California that are wake/ surf specific. May want to reach out to them to see how they handle erosion. One is The Farm in Nicholas, the other Villa Lagos in Red Bluff. The biggest problem I see is the amount of homes. I can see waiting all day and never getting a ride. Plus friends and family that come over . We have 9 lots and 6 homes. Works perfect !
  10. Here a a few pics of a lake i used to ski at.
  11. cant comment on the others, but the new MC is miles ahead of the 197 in many ways. it makes a great family boat that can handle open water. that opens more doors. im pretty sure the new mc is selling well and profitable. cc went the other way on their new boat and targeted a small segment of the market. but with that sky high price tag im sure they make money too. as far as boat shows go. the dealers pay for the floor space so its up to them what to bring. in sac town i saw all three last year. but we have a big ski scene here .
  12. i like to go and drink $12 beers and eat $8 hot dogs. nothing new to see on waterski boats and im too lazy to climb a flight of stairs to go in a wakesurf cruiser. but its still fun to go.
  13. i had the skylon on my 05 Rlxi. It looks really good. I will say the wake at 22 was alot better when i removed the tower and wedge. I did have speakers too .
  14. Don't know what happened to mine can't find it anywhere. I'd like another Camaro top
  15. those are great questions. ive always dreamed of warmer weather. not that Northerm California is that bad in the winter.
  16. i apologize if this has been discussed before. not sure if its from the hard water / iron in our lake . the black portions of the seadeck on my prostar have an orange tinge to it. any advice on clean up and product.
  17. @eleeski I really considered moving to SD when we were looking to move a few years ago. I also was looking at Disco Bay. I just couldnt afford a house in Mission Beach. I didnt want to be inland. Someday when I win the lotto!
  18. never work , majority of the line would be under water.
  19. the carbon pro has already proven itself and people bought them. it must not have made financial sense to keep it going. ive been to the centurion plant, and my take is that they dont want to dedicate the room and manpower. those resources are better allocated to the surf barges that bring in higher margins. make it in china !
  20. i like to call them , the pretty one and her ugly sister !
