  1. ive been waiting on some parts to install my motor on my lift. in the meantime I have been hand cranking which is quite the workout. is there any potential damage to the under water gear leaving it under water? that last foot to go up is a killer !
  2. i bought a rear and couldn't get past three passes before I had to take the ski off I was in so much pain. loosen the wraps as much as they could go, and it didn't help. it's not that it's too small I even went with a size bigger. it's just super uncomfortable and painful. back to my old D3 leverage
  3. @MDB1056 4 sets of bunks, rear ones hard to see in pic are actually different heights. if you can get that spacing on a lift , good luck
  4. . i was told it had to be a ilmor and no cross reference , figures
  5. anyone have a good place to order oil filterd? don't feel like driving to dealer. found a few places online but I haven't heard of them before so I don't want risk waiting a month to get it
  6. ive only been in the boat by myself so far and it feels fine. i will never have more than one person on it. really only to wipe it down. people will get on and off when its in the down position.
  7. one owner boat and looks pretty good for its age. but still over priced. i wouldn't pay over $8k
  8. @MDB1056 obviously you don't have a Prostar!
  9. can you thread the needle between lakes with skier in tow. I'd like to see that!
  10. any recommendations on light weight long sleeve shirts for sun protection . looking for something that is cool and will feel comfortable wearing in 100deg temps. if that exists thanks!
  11. there is alot of content on this site about the ProStar. Also go to build a boat on the MC site.
  12. just finished setting mine up, went with @epnault spacing
  13. sounds good ,let me know when. @keithh2oskier
  14. is this not enough? its pretty clear to me. not only is it written on the garment, they are obviously thinner. I'm no genius, got a couple years of community college under my belt. I can figure it out. My kids all wear type III and i take the risk with my non approved. I never use it on public lakes though. Only at home on our ski lake. Plus , last time I checked , tubing was not a tournament event . Not yet at least!
  15. hate to throw this ancient artifact away. but cleaning house and it needs to go. Free to anyone that wants plus shipping or in the trash it goes. have course magnets too. those are in line for trash too.
  16. people need to have some common sense and accountability if they are going to participate any type of activity that has inherent dangers.
  17. it's too bad a young man had to lose his life, but you can't fix stupid.
  18. I am really glad I bought my 2017 ProStar when I did for 59k. it sounds like I could probably sell it for close to what I paid for it now. I would never pay that much for a boat if all I used it for was up and down the slalom course . even though I live on a private lake I get the boat out on public water quite a bit as well. we go camping ,houseboating, bar-hopping.
  19. going on season three with mine and love it as much as the first day. maybe even more as i use it , the more I find its versatility.
