  1. This would be crazy in a prostar!
  2. I prefer BYOB with a 15 minute rotation unless no one’s waiting then can go as long as you want.
  3. I’m pretty sure the pricing is directly from Sanger and pick up at the factory. So no dealer stomping on it. If MC let you do that probably get close to that price
  4. I think something happened causing the boat to veer into the boat guides and eventually stop. I dont think the bouys or lines that keep them anchored had anything to do with it.
  5. That’s comparable to sharing a wife or girlfriend to me. No thanks! However both scenarios definitely keep the cost’s down! Lol
  6. No. I just went about daily life. Mistake obviously. My friend popped it back in , sucked but he is experienced. Saved a trip to ER. Will have to wait and see what the doc says.
  7. Took over a year off and first set yesterday, shoulder dislocated again. Pretty sure Surgery or never ski again are my options. Surgery wasn’t covered by insurance last time. Not sure what the outcome will be this time around. Anyone want to buy a 2017 MC and home on a private lake. FML.
  8. Eventually a sheriff’s boat will get swamped if it hasn’t happened already. I would love to see what would happen to the surf boat driver!
  9. I was out on the Delta last weekend. There are alot of mini yachts that cruise the channels. I thought their wakes were big until i had to go past a surf boat. The wake on the surf boat was bigger than any of the yachts. An inexperienced driver would have swamped badly. Took alot of work but I didn’t get a drop over the bow. One slip up of the throttle though and it can get bad quick.
  10. @BraceMaker assume nothing. One would have to be a special kind of stupid to think a four winns ob and response ob are equally safe in rough water. I had a Ski Brendella OB. That boat waa a swamp machine.
  11. So it wont work with the “MX “ style jugs only the legal cans. Maybe if remove the hose and it can fit in that opening
  12. I may be not popular for this but , I dont think ignorance should be rewarded with a settlement, but penalized. Awhile back I witnessed someone towing their boat off the tower behind a houseboat. I just laughed while watching this debacle. How stupid can you be. I eventually stepped in. They didn’t want to listen and eventually they swamped it while it turned sideways. not my problem at this point. Lol
  13. Im on the side of operator error. No matter what the activity you should not assume safety because someone else built it and sold it. If you don’t take the time to assess and accept the risks, then you shouldn’t do it. Unfortunately a child doesn’t have life experience to make their own wise decisions. Just the other day i took my son to a waterslide park. The slides were leaking like a shower, structure was made of wood. Rotted, split and rusty bolts. Im sure someone signed off on it. But my son and I both agreed its just a matter of time before this collapses. So we left. It may go years before it does, but it wont be with my family. Obviously in this case , the operator just assumed it was safe with his limited driving skills and unfortunately the kid paid the ultimate price. I have owned more OB ski boats and have swamped all them at some point other than my 2017 MC. I have no concern running it with my bow full of kids when conditions are there. But Im not a dummy and guess thats rare now days.
