  1. @Paul_k I called and they quoted me 160 or a package of 10 sets at $60 per. Maybe I miss heard
  2. @markn anywhere else? I don't really have $160 for 6 passes :D
  3. Hello, I am looking for somewhere to take a couple sets over Christmas and new years. I will be on Marco Island. Just seeing what's out there and close by.
  4. Hello, I have a 1997 pro star. I am trying to see if anyone has ever been able to take the stock 350 or LT1 and turn it into a drive by wire zero off boat. I know the easiest way is to just engine swap but I just want to get an understanding of what would have to be done. New ECU along with the throttle body? If anyone has ever done this please let me know.
  5. Hello, I am currently looking for places to ski near the Marco Island Florida area. I will be down there this winter and would love to find someone to ski with.
  6. @skimtb the course is pvc pipe and it is about 4-5ft where the course is. The gates are too close in so when you go thru them it automatically makes you late for 1 ball.
  7. @WoodySkier sorry should have specified. The course is in right now. All buoys are on and somewhat aligned. I know for a fact the gates are off. I am just looking into how to make sure everything is measured out correctly.
  8. @skimtb it is a floating pvc course with the U of m ski team using it and about 6 or 7 other families from the area. We leave it in year round.
  9. Hello, So over the years here in my home town we had someone who would set up the course and he got it set up perfectly. Our slalom master has recently moved on and now I am the one who maintains the course. Me ... A 17 year old... I realized earlier in the year just putting on the buoys is half the battle. I have absolutely no idea what the measurements are. I am just asking for some tips. I have a surveyor but don't understand on how it works. If I could get measurements and tips on how to make my course up to standard it would be greatly appreciated
  10. last time I skied air was 43 and water was 38
  11. Hello, My ski buddy recently bought a 2003 196 and I am not very familiar with how to work the perfect pass. I would just like to know how to set it up most like a zero off pull. I would like to know what the R values are and if the weights should be used for the skiers actual weight
  12. I have always been interested in methods of training on the water other than just running down the rope or moving the speed up until you get close or hit your PB. I just wanted to hear from the community what exactly they do to A keep up in the off season and B train in season on the water.
  13. Hello, I will be staying in west palm from the 21st-4th or 5th. I am looking for anyone to ski with while down there. I can give money and drive.
  14. Hello I recently bought a 97 prostar with the throttle body 350. I have been looking at used units for perfect pass but have no idea what will work and what will not. I know that it will not support zero off. I just want to know what single gauge means and what else I would need to run it if it just came with the unit.
  15. @spicoli Yeah I surf a lot out in Cali and I use that app all the time and that's exactly what I want.
  16. Have you ever got to your ski site and the conditions are really rough and you didn't plan for it? Well what if there was a program where you can see a live feed of the site you are skiing at to see who is currently in the course? How windy it is? Now I am aware that most people can just look out their window and tell all that, but what if you live far away from your site or your going to a tournament. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever thought of this or if this could become something in the future?
  17. Sorry for the google earth but the line is the course and the club has a hangout Space on the island
  18. @jjackkrash same my course is set up the same the best part about it is that you can go back on a busy Saturday and bust out a pb with perfect water
  19. I have been watching the ski it again slalom webpage for about a year now and yet it still amazes me. You see Rev 6's going for 400 and you see A3's going for 700. Every ski it very different price wise but the question I want to know is what is the cheapest ski you can take to 41' off??
  20. In this new age of water skiing most of everyone that skis competitively skis on private sites. Has anyone ever skied on a public lake that has an amazing site?
  21. @ScottScott I would have to disagree with that the 1999 nautique's have a great wake at 30mph
  22. @MattP I see. I was just wondering. thanks :)
  23. I wouldn't recommend a sport Nautique unless you are a cross over kinda person. Look into a 1999 ski nautique 196 they are great boats and they are very well built
  24. @Horton Chat on the forum. Like we are right now
