  1. Biggest issue with Radar is overseas manufacturing. I do ride radar everything but wont buy radar product made in China or others. Besides the ProBuilds i dont know what is made in USA.So now will have to look for another brand. I bought a masterline handle this year and very happy with it.
  2. about as long as it takes to grow back another pair!
  3. Expedition - Space = lots - many ways to configure the inside for your road trips. - Ride is great ( living room on wheels); long wheelbase great suspension - ecoboost is awesome ( fuel efficient; quiet but you hear it when you want to punch it; and can tow anything i believe you will throw at it. Style is great. auto side steps are a nice option especially for buford. I have seen good deals come on the Limited MAX edition. what else do you need? @horton watch the old eco boost testing videos on youtube from Ford. I believe its a 4 or 5 part series from them. You will be impressed with its performance and longevity and how much you can abuse it. It prides itself on its towing capability for its size. its pretty awesome.
  4. Live in Toronto, Canada - buy from guys on both sides of the boarder and have never had an issue. bought everything from a neoprene cap to a ski - 15 purchases via SIA not one problem. Great people and most are well ingrained in the water ski community. Larry runs a great site / community place there.
  5. @skibrain thanks for sharing this. Really interesting and i know the gear heads here are already thinking of ways to incorporate / alter that technology to work on our big 3 DD's.
  6. IMO - Stokes and Eagle are top quality. I personally prefer stokes but unsure regarding impact protection and all that. @Thomasasher
  7. @Ali , its not that; this has been commented on many many many times in other threads. most viewers have shared their thoughts and have their camps. i agree and hear you but you must understand people have moved on for better or worse. I dread even sending this for the sake of adding to this thread but thought you may have missed the previous threads..
  8. @brooks ,he will be sure to respond. Best in the biz!
  9. As i think you will find over threads the past few years; the Radar Lyric ( Senate) and HO Omni are head to head skis in their respective fields. I have never seen more comparisons with similar results as I have with these two. I personally ride a 2019 Senate Li and had a 2016 previously. Great skis but i don't think you can go wrong either way! If you can; test it before you buy it. I know Radar has the radar nation tour and many of their dealers have great demo options. I would believe HO dealers would have something similar also. Sidenote - when you do buy your ski; depending where you get it from; check on here for settings to optimize your time on the water. Could save you a headache or two. Good Luck & Enjoy!
  10. @ironhorse yes, and i know exactly what you mean. Stokes doesn't have that short fit problem. I'm 6' ; 172lbs, with a long torso and it overlaps my shorts perfectly. I believe @Horton has been a stokes user for a while and does have reviews on here to watch. Hope that helps!
