  1. Sent you a PM with my information if you would like to talk. I’m still hoping someone else will reach out to me as well. It is the experience, timeline and I can tell you there are several black hole periods where having someone to talk to will be helpful. Physical Therapy has been helpful now that it has started. Positive input during the healing process is going to be important.
  2. Best pic I could get of Coles'. Thanks, everyone. Looks like Joel called on the cycling shoemakers to mold a carbon sole to his foot and build an upper. Love the creativity and concepts. I like the idea of a rubber rear like shown in the original post. The Radar Vector Hybrid RTP Binding is the closest thing I can find. I will stick with my rear D3 T-factor for now. I just leave it completely loose. I did have to modify the front T-Factor boot a bit and remove the rear plastic plate. I wanted my feet closer together and back of the front boot sticks backwards a bit to much. They are built for tall guys and not short guys with big feet.
  3. Hmmm well boy it sure looks like it on both their skis. Tomorrow I’ll try to get some shots from there sets and zoom in on the boot. Looks pretty darn close. Old doesn’t mean bad. Looks pretty darn functional to me.
  4. Thought I saw this rear binding on Howley and McCormicks skis at Worlds. Anyone know what it is? Just trying to satisfy my curiosity.
  5. Looking for anyone willing to talk! Little lost and scared with some of the pain I am having. Would like to at least get back to 32 off but l would love to ski 35 or more. I’m 10 weeks out from a 3 level fusion. S1/L5, L5/L4 and L4/L3. Putting the course in this spring was the straw that broke the back. It’s been a rough year and took a bit to give into fusion. Tried chiro, PT, injections and rest to no avail. Figured I’d add some before and after pics in case anyone out there has similar. Please pm if willing to talk or even email. Wonder how I’ll be next year. Surgeries were August 8th and 10th. Front and back cut into. ION screws instead of rods which I think is a win.
  6. Did you ever find the device they are using at the tournaments to get the line tension?
  7. Slalom boats should be about 40K tops. Take out the radio, trim down the interior, no backseat. Give me a good wake, 300 hp is plenty even on a small lake, closed bow. Boats job is to pull a skier. I don't need a 2nd hpuse.
  8. Valvoline Racing VR1 40W. Some Napas and OReilly's stock it. My local Napa never takes more than a day to get a case in if they are out.
  9. Skied it today and it skied like a much larger ski. Very interesting.
  10. Just freaking me out I guess and wonder if I should go up a size since I am used to more ski under me or just roll with their measurement size recommendation. 66.5 Revolution on Left 67 D3 Arc-S on right
  11. Hoping someone out there can help. Just ordered a Goode Revolution in 66.5. The ski says 66.5 but measures 65. They don't even make a 65 or any thing that small. Anyone have one they can compare and measure actual length. They are closed on weekends so I can't get answers from them. Worried this is way shorter than my 67 arc and shorter than anything I've ever skied on. Maybe I should have done the next up. On the edge of sizes.
  12. Try adjusting background settings. Third post down in the below link will help. I have similar issues and have to train my drivers a bit. You can not leave the boat at full throttle on a short setup. Pull back after the skier is up and put the throttle just past where it woukd be if you were driving by hand. I had to slowdown 1 ball a bit and boost 3 ball to get the boat to feel right and have good ball times at all 6 balls. http://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discutssion/15596/new-stargazer-install-inconsistent/p2
  13. Looking for a new ski. Currently on a HO S2 67". I am 5'7" 178 lbs. 6@32 off was my best last year. I am stocky from to much wresting and weights as a teen but not "fat". Weight is all around the butt and shoulders. Quads aren't small either from lots of cycling. Any thoughts? I am demoing a Arc and Arc-S in a 67 right now. Only one session on each and then I had to run out of town for a few days. They are nicer than the S2 from a turn and standpoint but I feel like the ski's are very big and hard to keep the tip down. They still also take some work to bring around. I will work with them to tweak them and make sure I am correctly setup. The S2 has to have a big arc to get it around and I want something a little quicker in the turn. I also think the bottom is screwed from 5 years of putting in an out of the truck. I can't make a rounded turn to save my life anymore and the edges are not so happy. I am in Denver where the water is cold. Late June the temp get to 68, July 74, August 78 if lucky and September it drops quick. You lucky guys in the south with all that warm water make me jealous. Seems like people don't like the Goode XT in cold water and I have to guess our water is always classified cold. I want to try one but hate to bother them with sending one out. Heck I want to try them all before spending $1600+ on a stick.
