  1. Big thanks everyone for your replies. I believe my no-go suspicions are confirmed. I live in western VA and the hills here are definitely substantial. Perhaps theres a scenario where the boat gets stored somewhere near the lake where we would drop in and no hills are involved, but we would still be putting the boat in and out for every use. The vehicle is also fwd and I have seen comments about CVT concerns in other forums.
  2. Hoping that someone knowledgeable can help me with this one - I am thinking about installing a hitch on my mid size SUV. I was wondering if someone would be able to tell me if my 2013 Nissan Murano SL is capable of towing my brothers boat. The tow rating for my Nissan is 3,500lbs. My brother took the boat to the scale with a full tank of gas/loaded with ski gear and got it weighed. The weight of the boat+trailer unattached from his vehicle was 3400lbs. Attached, it weighed 3140. The tongue weight was then given at 260lbs. The trailer has electric drum brakes as well. Given this information, would my 2013 Nissan Murano with a tow rating of 3,500lbs be able to tow the boat? I would be launching it and taking it out of the water frequently, and would definitely be looking into installing a class III receiver and a brake controller. Thanks, Andy
  3. I have an old Masterline EVA trick handle (about 4-5 seasons old). The padding on the handle is slowly peeling off the more I use it (see picture). I wanted to know if there was an adhesive I could use to glue the padding back down to the handle? Not sure what would work best. Any help is appreciated.
  4. Thanks for the advice Mike. I was worried about losing too much ankle support, but it doesn't seem like I'd be losing that much. I've also read forums about people placing water bottles and other objects in their trick wraps for a few weeks at a time to 'break them in' so to speak - Although this seemed like it may not be the best option.
  5. Hi, I am what you might call an intermediate trick skier - started about 2 years ago, competed in collegiate tournaments. I can consistently put up about 660-740 pts in a tournament, sometimes more. My question is about the wileys trick wrap vs the slalom wrap. I've always used the trick wrap but lately its been somewhat frustrating to only be able to go about 10 minutes before my foot starts cramping. I don't really want to spend the money on a hardshell setup just yet, so I was looking into putting on a slalom wrap instead. Are their major cons to doing this? Is it more of a preference thing? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
