  1. We had one growing up and always remember wishing it had a 200 on it when going longline. Shortline was always good because the engine could be trimmed a bit. It was on a small lake, so we always kept about a quarter tank of fuel in it (measured with a broom stick because the fuel gauge never worked) so it didn't weigh the front of the boat down to get a little more speed. it was a 1986 Barefoot Warrior with a Yamaha 150 on it.
  2. Headed up from Texas for a week with the family in August. We are staying on the lake and my uncle is bringing his response, just wanted to know if there was a course anywhere on the lake. Thanks in advance!
  3. OP, a bit of a late response but I also Ski at Terramare. PM me if you are still looking to ski.
  4. Team, Anyone know anything about the community called Thousand Oaks in Magnolia, TX (Houston Area) ? There is 1 lake with a course and looks like only a few houses on the lake. Lake looks to have approx. 2200ft of useable space with a SE to NW orientation. Tried to search before posting, but did not find anything. Any input would be appreciated.
  5. Team, Thanks for all the input. I think Dad and I are going to use this to plan a little more in advance for next year and hit Miami! The in water boat show sounds pretty cool. Again, thanks for all the input!
  6. So Dad and I always hit the Houston and Dallas boat shows, but of course rarely is there a slalom boat. Houston is geared towards salt water fishing and Dallas is more towards the luxury boating experience. While they are relatively large shows, considering the venue's, we are looking for the next bigger show that has a bit more variety. We have tossed around the idea of heading down to Miami, but was looking for some input from the team on BOS. Any recommendations? Any shows out there guaranteed to have some ski boats? Thanks in advance guys/gals.
  7. Thanks guys for the input and confirming assumption. @Horton I am tracking the oil change reset, I always reset at oil change as it does not require password like the dealer service reset.
  8. Team, Is this an "hour" based notification like the oil change notification? My assumption is that it is because there are no faults current or stored. Currently have 330 hours on the boat. I try to do all of my own maintenance with OEM parts from the dealer, so the boat has only been to the dealer a handful of times for a few warranty items. Appreciate any input.
  9. Where is the clinic located? Looks like there was a picture posted in your post @skihard but for whatever reason the pictures don't appear on my work computer. Can anyone share some details?
  10. Anyone know of any pro clinics coming to the Houston, TX area any time soon?
