  1. This was by far THE best tournament I’ve attended. They were spinning @ -35 and shortening to -38 behind the island. Set down at the other end and with virtually no wait change to -39 and get after it. Run that to give them as much time as possible at -41 The only stipulation was that you must run the previous pass to get scored on your hardest pass. Crashes didn’t count. When they fall, the boat would spin quickly sending a huge roller down course. Rope comes tight and away they go. Seeing someone spin -41’s was impressive. Thanks to all the people at Radar for putting on such a great show.
  2. @horton, did I hear you correctly that Nate was suspended from competition until further notice?
  3. Go to Tournaments and get a ride behind one every weekend.
  4. Water 47. Air 48. Ice cream headache !!
  5. There’s a group of guys that ski in Idaho during the winter on the Snake River. They’ve plumbed into the hot shower a 1/4” line that’s zip tied the length of the rope with an irrigation nozzle on the end by the handle.
  6. The reason I’ve chosen to not renewed my membership is that it’s tough to go to a tournament and pay the entry fee only to get a few passes and a swimming lesson. The value just isn’t there for me. I can sit at my lake and ski as many passes as my hands will take and the boat picks me up every time. Not against swimming, just hard to make it pencil. I will say that this year I will renew, I think all the practice will at least allow me to make 3 passes.
  7. @Luv2Ski check out REI garage. Search camero. They also have a 1.5 blacktech suit for 50% off. Tried to shorten link, google would t let me. Sorry
  8. @disland I do an hour TRX workout every morning at 5 and I never get fatigued. After reading the article, I think maybe adding a couple of failure days migh help me get to the next level.
  9. @AdamCord says in the gut gate video, you don’t need strength to stay connected to the handle.

B happy to come down from Washington state and fly for you. Might ask for a down and back or two in return. Have a phantom 4 with 4K camera.
  11. Thanks for your efforts @AdamCord.
  12. I already own an XTR, but I would gladly buy another for a pair of snow skies for $99
  13. The stokes is a good option as well. Looks more durable than the Camero and just as warm. My ski partner bought the Stokes 3/4 suit and the gloves.
  14. I can across this video. Hope it helps
  15. I started out taking a few classes to get familiar with doing the exercises with correct form. TRX also has an app
  16. https://goo.gl/gyKpJY We like to have fun in the NW as well
  17. I was an INT competitor for two years. Enjoyed competing with guys and girls of my same ability. My goal was to always stand on the dock with the short line guys and be competitive. That got me hooked. The only reason I stopped and I think others have joined in not participating is current managemen of INT. Since then I've bought a ski lake lot and into a new 200. Knowing now the amount of commitment it takes to reach short line status, It seems that a handicap system would take away from what it means to be a -39 skier. The reason I don't compete in AWSA is b/c I'm not ready yet.
  18. Don't forget in order for the ski to qualify for wide ride it needs to measure 7-1/4" ,1" ahead of the front binding. Can't do it on any old skinny ski.
  19. @mbabiash just hit up Bedal for numbers. If I'm having a challenge he's always gotten back to me with an answer.
  20. It was as easy as taping on the 60fps and it cycled through the available setting for fps.
  21. I have an iPhone 6, has worked as advertised every time. Set at 60fps stabilization on.
  22. I'm with @oldjeep as someone with a grade 2.5 Spondolylisthesis from an OTF scorpion. I believe a brace would transfer the energy to next weakest link.
  23. It's great that @goode is constantly evolving. My change is , I just recieved my brand new Nano 1FT last week. Kinda frustrating. Hopefully the Nano is just what I was looking for.
