@UWSkier they add "torque" to the rudder to make it track better because some of the short line skiers can pull the boat out of the course. Just a method of counter steering
Payed a visit to the doctor today after my foot slipped out of the RTP and kicked the back of my reflex boot leaving a nice quarter inch gouge and fortunately only a hairline fracture. Consequences of buying an RTP that's too large.
I'm demoing the Arc and Quest this week and sadly forgot my angle gauge at home. Is there another way to measure the angle. Is there a minimum angle degree with the wing all the way down?!?
Only used the ski for two months. I bought it with a factory blem towards the toe. Minor scratches and small scuffs...strictly cosmetic. PM me if interested
@thrix I completely agree. But If my bindings were closer together the release mechanism wouldn't have enough room to open and allow the reflex boot to fit in the heel cup and under the toe bar. I have no choice on this one. Switching over to a RTP tomorrow.
The heel of my boot is still secure in the binding... Do you think it is alright to use it for a set or two anyways? It doesn't feel like it's coming lose
@escmanaze they say the two happiest days of boat owners life is the day they buy the boat and the day they sell it! Haha, but I'll report back with info regarding how it rides etc...
