  1. In regard to the handle guard, three out of four people in our group have these, and not once has one pulled off the handle. The Velcro setup works great. Previously we all used zip-tied guards and were constantly replacing ties when the guard would partially rip off.
  2. Be careful with that black one. I'm pretty sure that same one popped up somewhere else, but with different info. A friend of mine was looking at it. @Lars you say you actually spoke with someone about the boat?
  3. Just don't get frustrated if it feels quite a bit different at first. Similar but different....I recently went from a 2017 V-Type R to a 2018 Vapor Pro Build (couldn't find a Senate Pro Build in my price range when I was looking) and it certainly is taking some time to adjust.
  4. Prices right now are definitely jacked up. There is a 2015 with 376 hours on SKI-IT-AGAIN for $61,000. May have a smaller motor though. Browse some of the listings for other manufacturers. Crazy numbers.
  5. 44 water, 47 air. Thinking that's it for the season.
  6. Air was back up to 48 yesterday. Water 44. Enough ice in the water-pump to keep it from turning. Direct injection of Dunkin Donuts coffee freed it up.
  7. My 03 RLXi was making a similar sound when "hitting it" to pull up a skier. It was a backfire in the intake. In my case, replacing the distributor cap seemed to be the solution.
  8. Thanks for the heads-up. Like the design! Ordered 2.
  9. @Bhaynes85 I've got a 2003 Response with the Monsoon 335 (which is a 350 GM). For what it's worth, my gauge typically shows 80 when on the throttle. No issues with the motor.
  10. I recently picked up a Ronix One Custom Fit Comp Vest. Coming from an Eagle, this one definitely has more padding and more float (at the expense of being a bit bulkier, of course). The Boa feature is pretty cool, but the dial can catch on things (like when sliding into the driver's seat).
  11. Comparing flex numbers between two skis (same manufacturer, different models): 2015 @ 71/100/120/130 2017 @ 70/101/117/133 For all intents and purposes, is it safe to say that these have the same flex pattern and stiffness? Thank you!
  12. If you go new, be sure you get the right one. There are two, F5B-9 and F6B-9. It says which one you have on the front cover of the pump. I just took the easy route and found a new replacement for $145 (included a new impeller).
  13. @perfski love the work sucks. Used to have one for snow skiing when I was a kid. Would definitely buy a few of those.
