  1. I love all the love for my SSLXi. I had similar wants when I was looking few years ago, was between this and a SN206. I'm very happy with my Malibu.

  3. @noooooah I have 67 HO Coefficient X from about 2014 if interested. A few steps down from top of the line then but it was/is a good intermediate ski. I don't have boots on it now, but once season is done in a couple weeks I can throw on HO attacks that are pretty worn but still some use in them. Ski itself is still in great shape. Let me know, I can msg pics if want. Inexpensive option if just looking for something to ride.
  4. ISO - 2018 Radar Lyric Front Boot Size Small
  5. Little/Big Bald Lake here in the Kawarthas (we need a course!). Spend quite a bit of time on Kasshabog as well. Skied at Bush's as a kid. Had a blast (as probably the least talented skier there) at the inaugural Ibuprofen Open at McClintocks last summer.
  6. @tru-jack I've had the BigChute, will look for Lock 42. Thanks! @ballsohard my other fav currently is from Whitewater Brewing Co.
  7. @ballsohard I've been enjoying this one lately, Town Brewery out of Whitby. IPA No.11 from Collective Arts is also delicious.
  8. @skialex Vectors (or Lyric or HO eq) in size S are too big. What do they sell on the TRA's i wonder? Not sure how she'd feel about rubber, but Wiley's might be her best option. I don't think she'd be in to hardshells.
  9. Anyone aware of Canadian dealer? Ontario specifically?
  10. I can't seem to find many options for small boots/bindings. I got my wife a new Radar Union last year and put her old HO boots on. Her feet are tiny, the HO boots are kids size. I'd like to get something newer for her, the HO hurt her feet big time. Does Radar make kids boots/bindings? Can't find anything online. Adult womens xsmall will be too big. Other ideas? Thanks.
  11. >:) Cutter sounds like the way to go, there are tools specifically for this.
  12. Cold first ride on my new 2019 Senate Pro, glad I didn't have to wait until spring....but now can't wait until spring! Water was 58, air 62. Beauty day eh!

  14. Came across this article while ago: https://www.boatingmag.com/features/2002/04/01/a-blueprint-for-building-a-private-ski-site/ Fantasy reading for me, but I've always said if I ever win the lottery, I'm gonna dig a big big hole.
  15. Was informed by Brooks the raised badge was getting in way of some binding systems, so they stopped adding it.
  16. @UWSkier NFC chip I think is just to the right. I'm wondering about the white logo spot (see pic). All other pics I've seen have a black raised badge? Thanks.
  17. What's the little raised black thingy on top of the 2019 Senate Pro?
  18. Hey Ballers, I'm James Brown (yup). Begged for ski rides from family friends as a kid behind I/Os, outboards, fishing boats on whatever combo slalom ski could be found. Spent summers in a trailer park in Muskoka, Ontario. All open water free skiing. Intro to course skiing as a teen at Bush's in Bala, ON...only once a year, but I loved trying to get around those balls. After high school didn't ski through university and into early work life at all (I'm a Metallurgical Engineer). Met my future wife and fate/luck would have it, she grew up skiing as well and I was reintroduced to skiing at her folks cottage (their lake has a course!); that was 14 years ago and I think I get more addicted every year...I just love skiing. PB few years ago ran -32@36. Can't seem to get back there (-22@34 on a good day) but this summer have taken a few lessons (McClintocks and Bush's) and enjoying working on form. And this spring finally got a boat of our own, a 2000 Malibu SSLXi....loving it and looking forward to plenty of good family time (3 daughters) on the water in the Kawarthas for years to come. Super glad this forum exists, has certainly further ignited the fire! Cheers!
  19. When y'all talking about boot angles, I'm a bit confused. I'm RFF and front foot points to the right, rear points to left a bit. Is that normal? Better for the hips? I've had left hip (rear) pain for couple years...doc thinks early arthritis (I'm 41), but I'm seeing a specialist soon as Ortho physiotherapist suspects maybe lebral tear (didn't show on MRI). I never suspected was skiing related (don't get to ski too much, every other weekend maybe during short Canadian season....and doesn't go away in winter)....but seeing these comments and the other related thread, maybe.....

  21. @UWSkier @quinne agree on sub 28 mph the wake on the VLX gets big quick, but it's not crazy. If you find one, just make sure it's the diamond hull. It skis great. Here's pic from tonight behind a 2001 VLX at 28 mph.
