  1. Joel Poland or Joel Howley ? My bet : Nate Freddie W Will
  2. I have a L Evo2 since 3 years at least.....the best in the business regarding floatation and durability. I am 6'2'' and 175 pounds but since I ski in cold water most of the time I do wear a top and it fits nice and snug. Can't go wrong with Stokes
  3. ouppps forgot an o....looking forward.....
  4. Hopefuly that wil make him smile more when he gets on a podium.... he is really talented and when he has no physical problems he can run 41off almoste anyday !!! Loking forward for 2023 season 😄
  5. Lapoint ski, since I am skiing on a Mapple T2, it might be a design close to the Mapple ? Just a guess
  6. If you go to the website of https://waterskination.com/ and scroll down, there is a google map with a lot of ski school around the globe. Really helpful
  7. Would you collect the same informations if you just put a GPS on a skier and another one on the ski ? And then no math for Vonman 😄 just speed and distances
  8. Adam can use a prayer for sure !!! Speed recovery !!!
  9. Vision is very important for me too. Looking down the lake right before the bouy, seeing the next one in front of the boat across and keping my head staight and like Horton said, it helps me to keep my shoulder square and it gives me a better surrounding awareness. On my glide I try to picture the whole slalom scene
  10. @skialex Question regarding boots, Syndicate hardshell and Edge does not have a flat bottom boot already ? I am asking bcause I never saw one in real
  11. Stokes evo 2 !!!! The best and durable !!!!
  12. @Horton are you gonna be skiing at the ridge with Marcus ? Or in that area ?
  13. Thank's @Horton and lucky me no need of crutches and I did check my release system before skiing but a bit too tight and I said to myself; okay I can ski and adjust right after.....wrong....!!!!
  14. Not releasing sucks too as Horton said !!!
  15. @braindamage and @skialex yes I ski on Geneva lake or we should call it lac Léman....We have a slalom cours in Geneva and we have access through La Nautique from March to mid-November http://www.nautique.ch/fr-ch/la-societe-nautique-de-geneve There is no private slalom ski course in Switzerland because it is prohibited (don't know why..) I think you might be able to ski at Cham on lake Zug, they have a waterski club but beside that we ski mostly in France nearby where we can have normal conditions which is not the case on the lake during summer time or windy conditions ..... to give you an idea, last year we had more than 35% cancellation due to weather. So from Zürich and the area, you have to go to Italy, or Austria maybe in Germany. Go to https://waterskination.com/ and there is a map with a lot of places where you can ski and click on "find a waterski lake" Good luck and if you need any infos .... don't hesitate to contact me through my email cholivet@gmail.com

  21. The battle for the podium : Nate, Freddie, Sacha, Will, but not in this order ... or maybe ??
  22. 65 this year and competing since 2015 and love it and still improving until ......I'll let you know Hard part is I ski on a open water in Geneva (Swiss) and the water is very cold (45° to 58) and we go to a tournament and the water is 68° to 78° ..... not the same feeling ....
  23. As @dave2ball I remove my boot every time because there is no reason to keep the pressure on the spring.....IMO.....but do as you want
  24. Back in a days when waterski was on ESPN, commentator use to call the rope by the feet the length of the rope like Bob Lapoint was runing 40 feet rope length and then 37 rope length (12 meters and now in the US 35off....) when did it change and why ...????
