  1. Big fan. Can't wait to see a video breakdown and ski behind one!
  2. Just an update - I switched to the Reflex R style and fell in love from the FIRST set!!! I just tied my PB with the set up and do not plan on going back to a full boot... EVER. :D only issue is my entire ski life I have been in double boots and now have to build my spray callus on my ankle a bit lower... its a bit sore and swollen at the moment lol - Cheers everyone! thank you for the insight!
  3. Flowpoint is good to (not as frequently updated) but @MarcusBrown 's content is top marks!
  4. Modern boots are so comfy! I do feel the Radar boots hold up better overtime than the HO products (based on my experience) but if you go Radar, make sure you get aluminium plates as the feather frame hole patterns wont work. Check out the Radar Profile and Radar Vectors - Cheers!
  5. @JoelHowley incredibly helpful and very well explained!!! Thanks for sharing this Greg!
  6. @customski thank you for the insight! I am trying my new reflex tomorrow!
  7. @mmosley899 thank you! I appreciate the insight!
  8. Is there a place to find where the events are hosted? Would love to attend more this year!
  9. @keithh2oskier thank you! I am glad to hear you loved the outcome. I am studying a lot of video from my sets and I do not like how dependent I am getting on my back foot on my off side at shorter lines. I am hoping that the adjustment this early still in my skiing life will help promote more front foot pressure. Cheers!
  10. Hey Ballers, I am sure this discussion has been had 100 times. I just changed to a thinner liner on my front hard shell boot and instantly noticed a major advantage. For me, I love the feeling of the ski directly under foot (which I noticed on my set last night). It has me thinking about my rear boot now. I am currently on a Radar Vector (which I find very comfy) but I do not do up the laces hardly at all on it and I feel as tho there is more cushion underfoot. Since I now notice such a major difference in my front boot, it has me thinking a thinner rear might be equally as good feeling. My question - has anyone gone away from a full rear boot to something like the Reflex R style and what did you notice? Do people like the change? What is there to be expected? I cannot really try anything like it first sadly, so looking for input here. Cheers!
  11. 3 (wish it was 2) I ski 36mph and run 22-28
  12. Use to be a part of a thing called wakeboard wednesday's - it was amazing! Two top of the line waterski boats, demo gear, at a bar with sand volleyball and restaurant - for $10 you would get a set with coaching and gear to use/demo. Dealer had it set up with a waiver form and it got a lot of people introduced to the sport - also sold a fair amount of boats and A LOT of gear!
  13. Thank you @34mph was it specific for the step? Any pictures to share?
  14. The Radar boots are very well made IMO and the size charts are pretty accurate. If you cannot try them on, it is hard to go wrong with Radar boots. Just make sure if you get an HO ski and Radar boots that you do NOT get radar's feather frame (as you will have issues with hole patterns and mounting length). Both are great skis! Cheers
  15. Look into the HO Omni - I think you will enjoy it. TRY before hand always if you can. Demo programs are so good right now and it truly is the only way to understand what you like.
  16. Hey Ballers, Does anyone know where to order a custom size piece of sea-deck that would match the Mastercraft grey for the step through to the platform on the new PS? Strange to me MC did not put a piece of sea-deck on this part, but after the sets the weekend we were really wanting something there. TIA
  17. We've been flooded out, causing us to miss the full month of May :(
  18. Over-analyze every aspect of the sets... :) - and then drink beer and talk more about the sets... Fall asleep thinking about the sets... wake up and repeat!
  19. Hello - following up on this thread. Did this ever happen? I now live in Lake Geneva and still ski in IL, but looking to get involved however I can to help and ski in the area. Looking for other course around that we can help with and ski with in return for the same. Cheers!
