  1. This one has been for sale for a few years I think, it’s just outside Chico Ca. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/5251-Bell-Rd-Chico-CA/13018057/
  2. Check with Villa Lagos ski lake in Gerber just south of Red Bluff, There is a couple lakes there, a ski and a wakeboard lake. I skied there once. You can find the phone # on the website. Eric Pettinger is the owner of the site. Last time i checked they had memberships but you needed your own boat.
  3. I have the Radar Vector also, love the Boa system on them.
  4. All those years of driving right by his skiing oasis to the The River from So. Cal to go skiing and not even knowing it was there till some years later. What a great legacy for our sport. Condolences to the Horton family
  5. @Horton Actually we drag out the pronunciation to the Dooooonnnnn Jooooohnsoooonnnnn, So Yeah, it’s Long and Sexy Baby ?
  6. We named ours the Don Johnson becuase of the Miami Vice color scheme, and i think the Zombie theme of Black Sun Shine is so Metal that this must happen.
  7. I am the youngest one in my ski group at 51 the oldest is 72 and still going strong. And although i get my pains i do agree that knowing when to throw the rope or not trying to grab that one more ball when you know your way late is key to not getting injured. But i will take a fall on my ski any day compared to a fall on my mountain bike. Damn, I don't ever want to grow up :)
  8. Peter for the Green till Pairs, Yep, Great stage today.
  9. 6 Ball Hazey IPA. and @DangerBoy SHREDD is spelled with a Double D :) And @jriester33 This beer Must be available to us West Coast IPA skiers because I love a Crushable NE Hazey on a Hot summer lake day.
  10. I have skied Sky Lake and its a beautiful site, so now i look forwarded to trying some that vinagret.
  11. Shooting for this also, probably pull it off this May or Even June as Squaw Valley will be open until July 7th this year. Maybe even throw in a mountian bike ride. Probably start with the snow before the slopes become more like waterskiing.
  12. Well, being that i just got off the phone with my coach I am going with what he told me. Listen to your coach! Not go out so hard and end up injured for the 1st month of my season. Bring back the Keep Wish from running 39 off beer thread so i can actually have meaning input on this site :)
  13. I couldn't see anything on February 2nd at Alpine Meadows!
  14. Yeah this thing is a mess. As of tonight there have been over 8800 structures destroyed and 48 people confirmed dead, and this is only the beginning. There are sooooo many people that are elderly and or physically unable to get out or did not even know it was coming that will most likely be added to this list. I grew up in Paradise and my mother, sister, brother in law and many friends have lost their homes. My 92 year old mom had to walk out until finding a fire truck that took her to a shelter because my sister couldn't get to her because of all the traffic trying to escape the incoming inferno made it impossible. I live in Chico and many of the 52000 evacuated have landed here and the shelters are filled. Hopefully some rain next week will help put the brakes on this 135000 acre disaster. So as Marcus said, this thing is Insane.
  15. Mountain Biking, and if we ever get any snow in Norther Ca. skiing and Snowboarding. But as you can see Tahoe is MTB Prime right now.
  16. Well, I know the Salt Lake city area has excellant access to Gold Level mountain bike trails up in the Park City area and a few ski sites in the valley. And if Broadside Harbor near Boise has access the mountain biking in that area is very good also. I think there is also a couple ski lakes just out of Sun Valley ID. and the there is all kinds of great riding there. I spent time mountain biking in both places this last July while on a family vacation. Durning the summer months I am usually able to split my skiing and riding equally.
  17. I really like my slightly bent ML handle, it really does help with my tendinitis.
  18. It was awesome to be there and watch this from the shore, and Really cool to get this prospective from above! Nice work @MarcusBrown!!!!
  19. Ok, success has been had. A couple weeks ago after my first pass of the evening the guy who coaches me said, ok we are cutting rope and 22 off it was. I completed the pass on the first go and have been mostly getting it since. Tonight was the best success yet making 6 out of 8 passes and getting more patient and smoother on each one. Still don't have any video yet, but I am deffinetly stoked to have broken through with about another month left in our season. Using the better leverage through the 2nd wake that @Than_Bogan suggested and I have been plenty wide.
  20. Yep, No Nate in the top 8, little bummend by this because I am going to make the trip to Bell Aqua to watch the finals today and hoped to see him ski, this should make for some good podium competition today though.
  21. Love my LiquidForce, its like a second skin that keeps my head above water. But, after 3 years of solid use it is starting to wear down.
  22. I watched all of the slalom yesterday via my Apple TV yesterday, what a great event.
