  1. I have been using Camaro wetsuits and bough more for my whole family. We are all water-skiers that live in Athens, Greece. The water is warm year-round, so we rarely use them. But still, the suits are super delicate. Even with careful use, I started noticing holes after about 12-14 months. So I sent my suit for repair. At that time the Camaro website stated: “Our unconditional 3-year warranty service ensures free repair - no questions asked, no proof.” And their repaired it. So I became one of Camaro’s best ambassadors! But 12 months later the suit started getting damaged with significant holes, due to its extremely delicate material and stitching. So returned it for another repair an also noticed their website now states a much ‘milder’ language: “a 3 year repair service” https://www.camaro-watersports.com/en/3-year-repair-service/. Obviously the delicate material was a problem for many… Now Camaro (after asking for proof of purchase which I duly supplied) replied that they consider the wetsuit “Not repairable anymore. Condition of material won´t allow to mend it long-lasting.” Obviously I asked for alternatives. After all this is within the 3 year warranty period. But Camaro simply passed the problem to their local dealer. The dealer has been extremely professional both with his communication and his products and delivery for years. But they cannot give a viable solution. So my conclusions: - Camaro’s powerful sounding statements: “We stand for excellent products and world-class service – we want our customers not only to be satisfied, we want them to be enthusiastic!” are just marketing… - The material they use is super delicate. Have you faced similar issues? Which wetsuit do you recommend I buy? Regards, Onic Palandjian

  3. Need recommendations for ski wet-suits. I used the Camaro but their statements: “We stand for excellent products and world-class service, we want our customers not only to be satisfied, we want them to be enthusiastic!” are just marketing… The material they use is super delicate. And they don’t repair within the 3 years. Have you faced similar issues? Which wet suit do you recommend I buy?
  4. I am looking to upgrade my stick. Currently own the 2015 Radar Vapor. Considering the 2016 Vapor and the Mapple T3. Thoughts/comments from ballers that have tried them both would be much appreciated. I’m 45yo, 5’8’’ (174cm), 145lb (67kg) with a Tournament PB of 3@32off
  5. I upgraded to the blue vapor from the green in January. I've since skied 60 sets and love it! This is my latest PB at -35. Looking forward to your feedback: "https://youtu.be/1_qVvHd2Nj8"
  6. @drewski32 I did not quite get your answer. Please elaborate... @andjules Thank you! @gt2003 My mind often wants more than my body... @rfa Let's keep at it! @thager lol
  7. Hello everyone, I’m 44yo, 5’8’’ (174cm), 150lb (68kg). Just started waterskiing 4 years ago at the age of 40. My first year, getting up on one ski was a challenge, but I progressed, as follows: 2011 skied 25 times - completed the slalom course 2012 skied 100 times - completed the course @34mph (55km) 2013 skied 160 times - made 28 off (14m) 2014 skied 140 times - PB 3,5@32 (13m) & 4@28 in competition (I never ski more than one set/day) My waterski progress incentivized me to eat healthier, sleep longer, and exercise daily. I had two minor injuries in 2014 (whiplash and sprained ankle) which set me back a bit, but I want to continue my progress. On the off season, I workout everyday for 60-80 minutes (a mix of bicycling, circuit training, HIIT, alpine skiing, walking). Weather allowing, I waterski once a week. During season (May-Oct) I waterski 4 times per week. What is the ideal training frequency for waterskiing, for both on and off season for someone like me? Thanks!
  8. In the YouTube video he seems to break the world slalom record. Could this really be a breakthrough in water-ski technology?
