I have a used Gekko, and everytime I would call Mark he was super helpful and responsive. I also love the boat. I think the issue for a budget boat though...or any new boat for that matter...is people want to see if the company will be around longer than the warranty. It is a total catch 22. You can't have a company last if no one buys them, but people won't buy them if they don't know the company will last. Also, everyone SAYS they want a barebones boat...as long as the barebones boat is sexy, has heated seats, a stereo, 6.2l engine....

I just don't think they did themselves any favors showing it in that sparkle blue...I would reserve judgement on the looks until they get a more neutral color in the water

@Horton I find if you make a big scene at the gate and threaten to beat people with your big stick if they don't let you bring it on the plane that they will give you whatever you want. It is especially effective if you facebook live it so we can all see.

@Chef23 That is exactly what I did...neoprene sleeve with fin protect (well, on the way home anyway after I bought one @perfski , on the way there is was bubblewrap) in my snowboard bag... No issues thankfully.

My wife just demod the senate at Rini's place...who got it from Perf Ski. I have her on an older Lyric right now...she LOVED the Senate. Never thought she would even attempt the mini course...but, a little coaching from Matt & Cole and she was doing it! Really...she is a freeskier from the word go, so it was pretty awesome to watch.

I was going to do this as well...then II just picked up one of those JBL blue tooth speakers...works well and I can carry it to shore.

Trying to plan a couple lakes to visit this summer where I might have a decent chance of good course time and came across this article: Link Sinkable course...an hour a day...not when there is boat traffic. How much more courteous can you be?

Went to Rini's place a couple weekends ago...WOW! Just an awesome experience, but best of all, I think my son caught the slalom bug. I was getting worried because he seemed to like footin' and just playing around on his combos...but when he saw a ball go past him the first time in the course, you could see him get a little pissed off. Got him! We went to Performance ski and looked at the TRA...has anyone seen this thing?!?! It looks like a VERY nice ski at a really fair price point. Guess that is how they get the kids hooked :)

Ski everyday? Hmmm...maybe I will leave my wife and kids and head out your way...how far are you from an In N Out? :)

Was there last week...under 30 minutes depending on traffic...and TOTALLY worth it!

Two days, 3 sets, every muscle of my being unable to move and I can confirm... No Gators at rinnis place :) Cole, Matt, and Paige were great! Hopefully we planted the seeds to get my 6 year old skiing this year , my wife to start running the course and me to progress. It was awesome skiing with New people like Jasmine. Now off to Disney... If I have any money left after I went to performance ski
