I didn't get to do this as many times this year as I like, but the Nipmuc Ski Club in Webster MA held the final learn to ski day of the year. Despite my own son trying wakeboarding for the first time...it was a great success. Happily, I had a few future slalom skiers :) Help keep our sport alive...#passthehandle

The volunteer issue isn't unique to this sport. Volunteers get taken to the woodshed all the time....and then we wonder why we can't get volunteers. Glad to hear someone say it!

Where did you mount your controls? If it is factory...where did THEY mount them?

They didn't have anything on how to dock start with 1 ski...damnit, I am never going to learn!

@BCM My thoughts exactly. I don't think it would be that hard to cobble together, but I am not sure how much I would save in the long run.

I have the heater kit...it is the dual model...works like a charm. I also did a heated seat for the driver last season...pax side is getting it this off season. Would LOVE pics!

Looking at the heater craft kit...did most of you (that put one in later) do a DIY or kit?

@RAWSki I can also say anytime I call Mark with a question on my Gekko...he STILL answers the phone! It's a hell of a boat.

I am surprised no one has mention the Carbon Pro...there are a couple boats that when I see them...I stop... Every time Sunset Ranch lists one, I pause. I am not a fan of closed bow...but they really make them look cool and SR knows how to pick colors! The new Orange Prostar is one of the few boats that makes me want to trade in the Gekko. I don't know how you improve on this (I don't know what year it is, I just saw it on the lake and was 'wowed' and I do love the GTO... Next poll should be best driver cockpit :)

Love the lines of my Gekko GTO...but ya...it is VERY easy to take a bath.

@skibrain portholes on the buick were funny....because it's a buick. A functional ram air intake on a classic muscle car was cool...because it was a muscle car. I would say the vapor is more like a Ford GT (I swear they painted the 2016 like one!) than a Buick LeSabre :)

How do you tell the boot is neutral side to side?

I have to say, I love the design with the window. My son did as well...which they put on the TRA. The one thing I don't like about it is when I get tired and out of position on my deep water starts, it will shoot water directly into my nose...every damned time. Two equal skis though...I would still choose the window. @lpskier Yup...Massachusetts. Damn truck has 218,000 miles, I have replaced almost nothing in the truck outside of normal maintenance. But MA winters are takings it's toll :(
