    Pylon creaking.

Once you have tightened both sets of u bolts and you still have issues you might check a few other options. I cant recall what the base of the pylon goes into but I remember putting shims in my 93 as the pylon set in a base and there was play at the bottom where pylon fit into base. If you have more of a glassed in bracket similar to an 2008, have someone really try and move the pylon back and forth hard while you watch the bottom bracket! I had a bottom bracket break, had to pull motor and glass in a new bracket, solid as a rock now! $1500 at dealer.
  2. I thought this was a useless rule growing up on a private lake. Once you get your rope run over a few times especially if the skier is in between the boat and a long line, you wave the flag high for amateur boaters.
  3. I have a pair but will be ordering Kevlar next. Hands feel hot when skiing. Not as much padding as my workout kpalms
  4. I found a Connelly Hook at a garage sale and put a Rockerblock R45 on it. Haven't had to tweak it yet. Thinking I might try a Reflex on it next.
  5. I'm curious as well about the warmth. From what I read the Blacktech is newer with value added seams that are glued and blind stitched. I hear they are great and don't leak and you hardly know its on. The Modetec is seamless and I'm guessing even more flexible. I would go Modetec if its as warm as the 1 mil but if not, I will need the extra warmth. Anybody try both?
