  1. Anyone have any advice on the best way to get regular sets around Boca Raton? Are the clubs around there typically BYOB (bring your own boat)? Which club?? I imagine it’s probably tough getting a set after work for a 9 to fiver.
  2. Thanks for the replies. Was hoping there was a super close option without cutting or adjusting but I’m guessing there is not. Bummer. Wish they still made it as well.
  3. Been using the white cuff version of the reflex boot for what seems like 8 - 10 years. Which of the boot systems is similar? Looking to upgrade without making a dramatic change in feel. Thx
  4. Yep and with skiing comes the ups and downs. I was running multiple back to back + 35's when the water was about 12-15 degrees warmer and then suddenly I started struggling a bit. We video and coach each other but I wanted some more input. Why not go to the best for a quick look!! It's really easy and worthwhile. I'm happy to have something to work on in my easier passes as we close out the year, too.
  5. I've taken a bit of a step backwards as of late and VERY happy @horton advertised the Givego app. It was super easy to upload and get the ball rolling. Looking forward to getting to work with Freddie's advice out on the water!!
  6. What is most reasonable caliper purchase? Slot? I just want solid repeatable measurement. Digital is fine.
  7. Thank you so much for the feeback!
  8. Anyone on a 2017/2018 Nano One XT using the CG fin?? If you are getting deep into 35 / 38 would love to know your fin stats. Anyone?? thx!
  9. The 1st pic in the thread is photoshopped....ok maybe not....but it's odd after watching the video.
  10. During ski season I can wear myself out pretty good and generally just feel like I can't eat enough. Constant hunger. I'm not saying that I have low blood sugar because I'm not sure that is the case. But I do feel that a good solution has been to add electrolytes. If I drink a Propel (zero cal but definitely has chemical flavor additives) between breakfast and lunch it can totally change how good I feel and turns off some of my hunger issues. Not sure at all if this can be a solution for you but I just think I know how you feel. Everyone is different.
  11. Just bought these replacement buckles for my white cuff Reflex binding....originals are worn out. Any idea which size T-nut to buy for the attachment?? I want to have everything on hand for immediate attachment when they arrive. http://www.ratchetingbuckles.com/ratchet-buckles-ladder-straps/al-buckle-catch/
  12. Not sure if I should post this in the Short/Deep vs Long/Shallow forum...but I am ski specific and have felt a change since the water warmed up a bit. Leaning towards going shorter and deeper....maybe not quite THIS much but @Horton was nice enough to recommend: Warm Water 28.75 6.830 (tips) 2.495 .703 9 Anyone having a similar feels or making similar changes?? i'm pretty close to stock. I went from being stunned by my off side turn (was LOVING it) to not quite burying the tip but definitely not finishing the turn. Much less comfortable/confident. I'm currently 28.75, 6.848, 2.491 deep side, .707 9degree. thx
  13. Definitely a good point. I didn't mention that I'm working on selling the boat this weekend and was hoping for a quick fix. Thanks very much for the input.
  14. Hi guys, 2015 Nautique. The water temperature sensor is paired up with the depth finder in a bi-ducer right below the engine. The depth finder works fine. The water temperature read out is now always 0.00 degrees. Anyone have similar issues with a 3yr old boat? The bi-ducer is a $475 part plus installation. Hard to justify the expense for something I can estimate pretty close on my own by dipping a toe in the water. Any input is greatly appreciated. I will definitely share if solved.
  15. They all land in the same spot at the first spray with what it looks like a tremendous amount of front foot pressure with nicely bent knees which leads to an easy transition at center line. That Will Asher pass is the one I can't stop watching. Coming out of almost all of those turns...he looks like he leads with the upper body more than the others....foot is on the gas big time....3 ball for a RFF...insane
  16. How many did you have made and what are you charging?
  17. Going to buy a Wakeye XT One w/ the shock tube attachment for our club and wanted to ask 2 (well really 3) questions for those who use it. 1. Sturdy enough for club use?? I'm concerned about wear and tear / performance issues over time with every day use by multiple skiers. Anyone using this product in a similar way?? 2. Is the XT One attachment a quick and easy transition between skiers?? Concerned about the time it will take to switch phones/cameras in and out of the xt-one holder. Would it make more sense to have a couple of xt-one attachments on hand to reduce the transition times?? Thanks for any and all opinions/advice. Please don't offer up any negative opinions because I already know Wakeye works hard to make a quality product. I just want to learn a bit more about what it takes to maintain in and keep it working under heavy use. Nothing against my club pals but I'll just mention GIANT slack hits to the pylon.
  18. Just to illustrate how amazing she is....and that it's not a pass killer to stand up a little after an offside turn....look at numero uno on this pass. Very similar. Maybe the difference is that he gets 3 ball a little better here?? She's that close!!!
  19. Looks like 4 lights....what does something like that cost installed?? Don't tell my wife that I asked
  20. @Horton I'm not near as technically good as you for sure. I agree probably me. I had read other guys post about it as well and thought it was a trait of the ski. Was never a serious issue at all. I LOVED the original and was curious if that was the reason for a small tweak. I have less of an issue with tip rise on the ski i'm on now, thankfully...but still working on cleaning everything up.
  21. @Horton I'm realllly glad you are reviewing this ski. Thanks!! I rode the 66" version of the first edition for almost 3 years and was very comfortable on it. I'm curious if the sidewall tweaks to this ski have a calming effect to the amount of tip rise that is common from the first edition. I might have to grab a second round on this ski....this time the 65.25".
