  1. @Rednucleus Yeah, I thought it was weird too
  2. Followup. Hoses were backwards, all is good.
  3. It isn't quite that simple unfortunately. One line goes into the bottom of the pan after going through the oil cooler and the other goes to a wart that comes off the block. It isn't like a 5.7l remote filter. Based on some info I got elsewhere I think they are reversed, but I would like to see a picture or get info from pcm/nautique before I have him reverse them. I don't want to be responsible for messing up his boat.
  4. Anyone have a picture or can help with a 2021 200 with zr4. Bil removed the filter adapter lines and we are unsure which goes where. One of the lines has a blue collar on it- currently he has it in the outer position but got an oil pressure alarm.
  5. My Chevy V8 will still be running fine in 2035
  6. So do it right and drain the water out first instead of taking the shortcut of trying to flush the water out with antifreeze. ;)

    MEFI6?

Or just look at the label on the ecm if it is still there.

    MEFI6?

Should be mefi 5/5a. But email indmar at their contact link With your engine serial number and Larry will tell you everything you want to know.
  10. No kidding. The -100 stuff I use is $13 a gallon
  11. @dbutcher In general replacement engines don't come with manifolds. $2800 seems crazy for one manifold - sounds like someone is getting scalped. The equivalent Indmar Cat manifold (ETXCat) are about $1200 a side. If you felt the need to pay someone to install them, the labor shouldn't be much in a DD since they are easily accessible.
  12. Mine doesn't sit out much, but my folks pontoon we have to retreat the cover with 303 every couple of years.
  13. @swbca Depends on what you want to do. I don't take them out over the winter, I replace every 2-3 years - which on my boat is 100-120 hours. I've never had a failure and I've never pulled one out that actually looked like it needed to be replaced. I keep a spare in the boat and the tools I would need to replace it if the need ever arose.
  14. 2 1 fall with broken ribs 1 bee inside the mouth while skiing in the middle of the lake (I'm allergic)
  15. @Edmund Whatever drains are available on your particular motor should be opened and drained.
