@jayski I'm with @Sethro - not sure ignorance is the right word, but I know what you're getting at and 100%  agree with what you're trying to say

I have skied on 4 different brands of ski the last 6 years. My buddies roast me when my ski bag brand carries a different brand ski inside. I just don't care! I use and ski what works best for me.

I am with @jayski on his line of thinking. I like trying the different flavors. I just wish my budget allowed me to try them all.

most people would rather ski on their 80-year-old slalom ski rather then  giving another brand a try.

I’ve got four 2024 models in the quiver right now…but two are the same brand (different lengths) so maybe it’s just three

Years ago I bought a Goode 9700.When I showed up at my ski buddy's dock, he said, "I thought you were an HO guy"...

It made me laugh. I did have 2 HO skis in a row, but not because of any brand loyalty. I had over the years, a Maheraja,  a Lapointe O'Brien, two HOs, a Goode amd a Radar.

I think there are several very good skis at any given time.

I’ve been on skis from 3 different manufacturers.

2009 HO Revolt

2012 Syndicate A2

2015 Radar Vapor

2018 Radar Vapor

2021 Goode 9970cc

2024 Syndicate Works 02

Ski shop branded neo-sleeve and ski on whatever works best for you.

My son is skiing on a ski from the 80s but not because he’s brand loyal, it’s just because I haven’t figured out what to buy him (and money is a factor 🥲)

we have dad skiing on a 68” Connelly concept impulse series , daughter on 65” HO free ride (currently working for our mainly open water useage); son on 63.5” Connelly SP from the 80s as mentioned above (it’s Kevlar 🙃)

other daughter and I ski O’Brien combos

And when shopping for a boat we looked at nautique, Malibu, and MC

so yeah

no brand loyalty here 🫣🤣

Agree with the above, but if you are smoking on a particular ski, don't let it go.  Ok to try something else but DO NOT LET IT GO even if you have a honeymoon on a new ski.

I once had an amazing ski... I got hurt; and while injured, I let my son take it for a ride.  It's no longer "my" ski.  He PB-ed on it.

Does he really mean ski`s and boat`s here 🤔

You can get a baller to change ski makers long before they will change boat brands!
