Baller lkb Posted July 20 Baller Share Posted July 20 Anybody out there using this? If so are you having trouble getting it to reach fix lately- today and back a couple weeks?
Baller Jtim3032 Posted July 23 Baller Share Posted July 23 @lkb It may well be something to do with the ALDOT service but it is also worth double checking your antenna lead and connections. Look for any compressions or kinks in the lead and also disconnect/reconnect the connectors to loosen any corrosion. These issues can lead to a drop in signal strength or quality which is just enough to make reaching Fix difficult. If you need to replace the antenna lead for the white dome shaped antenna, here is a suitable link RG58 TNC Male to SMA Male Pigtail Jumper RF coaxial Cable 50ohm.
Baller MichaelGoodman Posted July 23 Baller Share Posted July 23 Not sure where you are located, I'm in Mass and had the same problem turned out MACORS GPS the signal provider had changed their address for the hookup to them. Put in the new one works perfect again
