Another question to the crowd - I've ordered new throttle and shift cables as my shifter has been stiffer than desired, and I've decided it's worth it to have a smooth operating shifter - I also ordered the brass pivot connectors with them, but ordered the 'short' version. Will these be an issue? Should I have ordered the longer/newer version for the boat?

A little bit of grease @ the throttle (pull out the driver's cup holder) and the engine and maybe the tranny shifter will take care of that

When I bought my 10 year old, seldom used, bubble butt--I did a new steering cable and greased the rudder packing at the rear---steering like it was running thru warmed butter.  Also had the tune-able rudder so set up some counter steer.  One of the better driving/skiing boats I've had the opportunity to drive/ski.

I drove/skied a really proper set up on a TSC3--I'll give it slight edge.
