Baller mfjaegersr Posted December 21, 2021 Baller Share Posted December 21, 2021 Listening to a TWBC podcast, I hear Tony declare that World’s is for ‘all the cheese.’ Classic. Way better than ‘marbles’? ? It reminded me of a British tradition* I saw on Netflix and made me wonder if it was/is the origination of the metaphor? Unlikely, but I figured at least 6 of you haven’t seen this show and will find it amusing. *Cheese Rolling 30m In the farmlands of England, an ancient tradition sends daring tumblers down a steep hill in a risky race chasing cheese — and history. https://www.vulture.com/2020/11/we-are-the-champions-netflix-trailer-cheese.html Episode 2 about the hot peppers is worth a watch too.
