Baller Cooper_Trelawney Posted October 9, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 9, 2020 It looks like yesterday Dorien Llewellyn set a pending world record for men's overall at a tournament at Sunset Lakes. If I remember correctly he slalomed 1 at 41, tricked over 11,000 points and jumped 223 feet. Each of those is a major accomplishment, to do them all together in the same round of a tournament is outstanding! There are several really good overall skiers right now with Dorien, a couple of guys from the Czech Republic, one of the Miranda brothers, and more, plus on the women's side we have Regina posting great overall scores too. I just think overall skiers need a little more love. They are amazing talents!

Moffattra
Wow! So rad! I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t even know that was a thing! How do they score it? Must be can hard not to favor 1 discipline?

Baller NikolG Posted October 10, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 10, 2020 Even more incredible it was a record previously held by his Dad, Jaret, until Adam Sedlmajer broke it. Back in the family now! Overall is incredibly difficult, none of the three is easy and tricks especially takes an insane amount of time on the water. Congrats Dorien, couldn’t have happened to a nicer kid!
Baller matthewbrown Posted October 10, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 10, 2020 That trick score is insane. I’m thinking somebody someday will run 4@41, 11,000+ Trick and jump 230’. That would be pushing the limits but I think it can be done. He’s certainly close to this and is young enough.
