Baller_ The_MS Posted September 4, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted September 4, 2020 We are in need of a boat or 2 for our E/L/R on sep 19 And C on Sunday at Ski Watch Unreal how difficult to get boats here. If anyone has connections please let me know. We had a MC but they pulled the plug on the promo owner after he already sold his boat. Not sure why they don’t have a promo up in the pan handle with lake 38, ski watch and ski chaste all putting on events all year.
Baller_ RichardDoane Posted September 4, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted September 4, 2020 the well has run dry for promo boats, I'm thinking next year's events will be "BYOB"
Baller Kelvin Posted September 4, 2020 Baller Share Posted September 4, 2020 The pool of promo boats is getting slimmer and those that do have boats aren't necessarily willing to take their boat to every tournament in their area.

Baller dave2ball Posted September 5, 2020 Baller Share Posted September 5, 2020 @The_MS you were on a promo team for years. This time of year is when the boats are sold or go back to the dealers. Promo boats have been harder and harder to get since 2018 or so.
Baller_ The_MS Posted September 5, 2020 Author Baller_ Share Posted September 5, 2020 @dave2ball it is a tough time to host an event. We do have a Nautique but tough to tell him to pull all 6 rounds. The Deal with the MC promo here really makes me mad. Had he known they were not going to get him a 21 he would have kept his last boat and not have to be in limbo. They told him after he sold it. Baller dave2ball Posted September 5, 2020 Baller Share Posted September 5, 2020 @The_MS when I was on the promo team if I had a sale after the nationals I took the sale. Especially when there was a hull change such as MC did. Tournament organizers know boats can be a crap shoot this time of year.
Baller Andre Posted September 5, 2020 Baller Share Posted September 5, 2020 I would move to a more waterskiing friendly state...like southern Canada! ;) My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
