Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted August 11, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted August 11, 2020 Real skiers don't drink Bud Light. Or anything Light. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller BlueSki Posted August 11, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 11, 2020 I have been drinking more bourbon during the pandemic and skiing better than ever. I would go with the hard stuff.

Baller DaveD Posted August 11, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 11, 2020 A few good IPAs after you've finished skiing will make you feel better about how you skied no matter if you skied good or bad. A few light beers will only make you feel like peeing.

Baller_ The_MS Posted August 11, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted August 11, 2020 There is nothing harder then to have to ask, what kind of beer when someone offers me one. My first reaction is that I am a beer snob and a bottle of water would be better then some crap light beer. Why bother to waste calories
Baller Cnewbert Posted August 11, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 11, 2020 2-3 Ursa IPAs (First Magnitude Brewery Gainesville, FL) and you won’t care whether you skied well or not.

Baller ironhorse Posted August 11, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 11, 2020 @unksskis - that is awesome! I just went on their site to see if they would ship me out the slalom king and busted prop. I live on a point at our lake that we have dubbed prop point for the number of boats that run inside the markers and hit bottom.
Baller pregom Posted August 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2020 @ballsohard how far are you from Vermont? Three excellent breweries there are The Alchemist, Lawson's and

Baller pregom Posted August 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2020 @ballsohard, Lawson's is strictly in Vermont, I believe. Alchemist and Fiddlehead started to be available outside of VT - I can find them in Massachusetts, where I am. You could try calling them.

Baller TEL Posted August 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2020 I am not much of a beer drinker, now Tequila that is more me. What is funny is this is my first year competing, the night before my first tournament i had a shot do help me sleep. I did pretty well. Before the next tournament I did the same thing, ran two more buoys. My third tournament I did two shots because it was a one and done tournament ran 2.5 buoys more than the second tournament. I am 1.5 buoys from my best PB in practice may see if three shots is a good thing or not

Baller ScottScott Posted August 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2020 Btw.... I'll go on record as NOT being a fan of the IPAs. A good ole lager is good with me. Or for something lite, some good old mexican piss water.
