Baller drew Posted October 26, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 26, 2020 @BigGerald3 for the 65" I like: 0.750 dft 2.452 6.940 But remember, skier height/weight, style, level and binding configuration are all pieces of the optimization puzzle. Work with a professional with whom you trust in terms of their understanding of ideals and your equipment.

Baller mmosley899 Posted October 28, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 28, 2020 @skibrain @BigGerald3 I took my first ride on my new Ion S today. I am moving from an EVO, so the ski felt very comfortable to me. The Ion performed as advertised, it turned easier and accelerated faster across course. I will need a few more rides to get it dialed in, but started with basically factory settings except for shallower, and bindings back 1/8”. Anthony Furmanovich
@drew Excuse my ignorance but can these settings be "adapted" for a 66 ion? Comparing the stock numbers of a 66 and a 65, on the 66 we have 0.005 more length, 0.010 more depth and 0.005 more DFT Maybe just add those differences to your 65 settings and try them on a 66? Also what boot placement do you recommend? many thanks for the help
