Administrators Horton Posted February 5, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2020 yeah that jackass that was making carbon fins 15 years ago plowed all of his profits into other water ski business ideas and ended up bankrupt. That guy was a dumbass but he did sell about thousand carbon fins before he quit. Administrators Horton Posted February 10, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 10, 2020 Some poor guy is so proud of this thing. Those of us who need gear that is designed to provide performance are making fun of this fin. If this "cool looking" fin gets someone excited who are we to laugh? Baller Dacon62 Posted February 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 12, 2020 @ral in the videos the Nautique has these upright, flexible, marked wands mounted to the hull that the rope passes over on the side to side swing. What are these? Probably figure it out if I think about it long enough but can’t make sense of it. Anyone?!?
Baller ral Posted February 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 12, 2020 @Dacon62 , maybe rope angle markers to guide where to turn in open water w/o buoys?
Baller lazzn Posted February 12, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 12, 2020 @Dacon62 i've seen posts of a sort of ~tournament~ format where skiers ski through what look like slightly wider than normal gates and then they have to ski wide enough to bend the wand on each side 6 times and then out another gates. It's an interesting concept for sure
