Baller LoopSki Posted July 29, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 29, 2019 ive had 3 letters come loose, and have glued them back on. but my letter "e" is beyond repair as half of it hung in while underway and it broke apart. its been 3 weeks since my dealer inquired about warranty on the letters but have not heard back. anyway one else get letters replaced under warranty? ill just pay for it if its gonna take so long . Baller LoopSki Posted July 30, 2019 Author Baller Share Posted July 30, 2019 boat is from the cash prize sponsor. for some reason it bothers me missing that letter. i tried glueing again with the crease and it still wont hold .
Baller GAJ0004 Posted July 30, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2019 I would draw a template for each letter, and then if they all come off, get flat decals made
Baller skibug Posted July 30, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2019 we have a 2015 MC prostar....all I can say is that stick on, raised plastic letters are probably the worst idea EVER!!! I hate them. They are at total PITA when wiping down or cleaning the boat. I just don't get it.
Baller MuskokaKy Posted July 31, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 31, 2019 literally the only negative thing i have to say about MC's is the side lettering. minor issue but a real pain in the ass. always looks ugly when you see a letter missing...not sure on warranty; but a good dealer would step up IMO; as this is a widespread "minor" issue. Baller swc5150 Posted July 31, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 31, 2019 At least they’re crazy expensive to replace and you have to buy the entire set. Sarcasm of course
Baller ToddL Posted July 31, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 31, 2019 Oh the things we can do while "listening" to a slow-moving conference call at work... Here's some fun examples of what could be on the side of the boat if various letters were to fall off: Master raft Mast raft Mas raft M s raft Ma raft Master aft Mast aft Mas aft Ma aft M s aft MasterC a t Mas C a t Ma C a t M s C a t Master ft Mast ft Mas ft Ma ft M s ft
Baller ScottScott Posted July 31, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 31, 2019 We were a Master raft for a while. Action helped us out, and made us whole.
Baller LoopSki Posted July 31, 2019 Author Baller Share Posted July 31, 2019 still waiting to hear back from dealer. i had a local vinyl shop make me an e, guess i will see how it looks next to the raised letters.
Baller LoopSki Posted August 2, 2019 Author Baller Share Posted August 2, 2019 well, i think it better than missing the letter entirely. from a distance its hard to tell. wish it was a bit more aligned , but whatever.
Baller Roger Posted August 2, 2019 Baller Share Posted August 2, 2019 I had several letters replaced under warranty in the first year I had the boat. I don't think they were applied correctly at the factory as I have not had a problem since (bought new in 2016).
