Baller ballsohard Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 How do the Miami Nautique gloves fit and are they good gloves? The price definitely seems better than most.
Baller Andre Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 The fit is very good and the grip is the best i have try.Very thin but durable with a good feel of the handle.Over 400 sets with 2 pairs! Drawback used to be the velcros but the Version 2 supposedly fixed that.@MS would know ... Funny cause i will know in 2 days as i was just checking tracking on my Miami ski nautique order of 2 pairs that will get here friday! Edit:Another plus is that they have in between sizes like S, S-M, M, M-L,L,... My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller ballsohard Posted July 17, 2019 Author Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 @Andre Would you say that they are sized the same as other companies gloves?
Baller Andre Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 Used to ski Medium Masterline K-Palms and went with Medium MSN. The fit was perfect for me. My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller Orlando76 Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 I have big hands, at least compared to most skiers and I wear a M or ML. Either way, only gloves I will ever wear. Got tired of not feeling crap and replacing my HO’s and ML’s after 25 sets. I saw some pink and blue gloves at perfski the other day..... ummm drawing a blank here........ jump skier that recently started doing gloves.... idiot moment here... those sure looked and felt like MNI but are $20 more. Baller ballsohard Posted July 17, 2019 Author Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 @Orlando76 Stealth gloves?
Baller lakeaustinskier Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 Well made gloves, however, they are thin. I need some more padding between my hands and the handle.
Baller Andre Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 They're out of the grey/blue M . Went with the ''Classic '' neon yellow and the other pair color is call '' Miami Vice''... :) My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance! Baller ski6jones Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 Great gloves. Sizing is about normal.
Baller UWSkier Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 I've always used gloves from Straight-Line, HO, or Radar. Regardless of brand, I have calluses tearing off once the water gets north of 75 degrees. Even with glove liners. For those who've switched to the thinner MSN gloves, are you noticing better, worse, or same levels of blistering and tearing of skin?
Baller bananaron Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 Fantastic gloves.I have 2 pair and have used them the last 2 seasons.I don't notice anymore damage to my hands using the thinner glove. They seem to wear really well and I am surprised at how well they seem to hold up.Will buy more........ Baller Orlando76 Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 @ballsohard yeah the Stealth Gloves! I kept thinking Dodd gloves but I knew that wasn’t right.
Baller ozski Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 Same as the Stokes glove right? I've been using them for 2 seasons and would not use anything else, amazing grip and very durable.
Baller mbabiash Posted July 17, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 17, 2019 Dodd has stealth light gloves that are very similar to the MSN gloves. I think they are better quality. Pricier but I do like them better than the stokes or the MSN gloves.
Baller hacker Posted July 18, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2019 Are Miami Nautique gloves similar to Pro Gear gloves? I've been using PG for years and love 'em.
Baller adkh2oskier Posted July 18, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2019 Great Gloves, thin, good grip, seem to hold up well. I personally find they run a little small, I usually find medium fits me but I need a large in the Miami Nautiques.
Baller chris55 Posted July 18, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2019 I use to have ProGear...very great gloves but the larger size L was a tiny bit too small at my fingers. So I bought Miami gloves XL and they are very similar but a bit longer for my fingers ....the best for me. 2 pairs in 3 years.....
Baller Justin_C Posted July 18, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2019 First year with mine. I like them. My mediums fit pretty well the same as my straight line mediums did. Not quite as comfortable as the wrist strap sits right on my wrist bone where as the SL sat a little higher. Overall great gloves
Baller georgea0731 Posted November 3, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 3, 2020 Miami Nautique is offering 20% off on their Red, White and Blue gloves. Any updated comments on them. Assume $40 with free shipping is reasonable even for 1 season. I switched to HO Legends this summer and have had less blisters, but they are showing a lot of wear. I also went from HO medium to Large. TIA George A. Amonette 78 Water Oak Ln. Jacksons Gap, Alabama
Baller_ The_MS Posted November 3, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted November 3, 2020 I just got 2 pair of the MAGA gloves at 20% off. Last day for the deal. They fit just like the yellows
Baller david_ski Posted November 4, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 4, 2020 I have been using the red/black MSN thick gloves for several years. The size seems consistent with other brands. One pair lasts me about 140 sets.
Baller BugHunter Posted November 4, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 4, 2020 The pink-and-blue Stealth gloves are called Mingo's. I'm using the Stealth heavy duty one and Like them a lot. I've never tried the Miami SN gloves though...
Baller DaveD Posted November 6, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2020 I had the Maga gloves for the second half of the summer. The palms seemed to hold up a little better than the black and yellow. The handle will turn the palms black.
