Baller sheskis7 Posted July 15, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2019 We have a new 2019 ProStar 5.7 with 140 hrs on it. In the past few weeks it has gotten to the point where the boat will not come up to speed by the pre-gates/ At 36mph it doesn't get up to speed till the course gates. Any suggestions on what might be going on?
Baller_ MISkier Posted July 15, 2019 Baller_ Share Posted July 15, 2019 Did you disconnect the continuous blower that runs in the engine box? The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller Jordan Posted July 15, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2019 Strange... have you checked for codes? Checked that nothing is wrapped around the prop/driveshaft?
Baller Andre Posted July 15, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2019 Dealer time! Why mess with a 2019 127 hrs boat? Edit: I know that it's their busiest time of the year or could be real far from you but...At least give them a call. My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance! Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted July 15, 2019 Baller_ Share Posted July 15, 2019 Yea what's up with that annoying blower thing ?? I drove two beautiful 2019 MC 's in tournaments this weekend and that rascle emits defining annoying high decibel sound! Found it very hard to communicate with my skier and boat judge Am I off topic ??
Baller_ MISkier Posted July 15, 2019 Baller_ Share Posted July 15, 2019 I believe the blower is required to keep cool air flowing into the engine. Otherwise, I think you have the power loss at high temperature, like the Malibu had last year. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
