stanlee
I recently got my second hip replaced- this one is front leg. Any of you have experience with coming back from this? How long did you wait to ski, how long to start getting more intense? 8 weeks almost feels strong enough to ride, but no rotation allowed yet. The surgeon thinks I can get full activity level eventually, but it’s a small sample size to know much about, especially front leg. Thanks, Stan
Baller eleeski Posted May 26, 2019 Baller Share Posted May 26, 2019 Stan used to be an excellent slalom skier as well. With good hips, can his slalom come back as well? Mine was the rear leg. Any front leg hip replacements out there? Eric
Baller waterskicorey Posted May 26, 2019 Baller Share Posted May 26, 2019 I had my front leg hip done 3 years ago, was back slalom skiing after 4 1/2 months, have not had any problems at all with skiing. Ran 38 last year for the first time. Don’t rush it, wait until you are healed and good and strong
