Dumb question - Reflex Binding Measurement

I’ve been measuring boot placement from tail to boot shell just under block. Is this “the standard” location to measure to? I’m asking because I am WAY off from what is recommended for my current ski, which has caused me to wonder.

I believe you are correct. Just under the block touching the plastic shell

Measure from the point of the boot closest to the tail, which in your case is right under the block.

 

It’s not whether you are where the manufacturer says you should be, it’s whether the ski works for you. In 1/4 ahead of stock on the ski I’m riding right now.
