Kyle does tournaments regularly there. Last year there was an "Action Watersports" tournament that I believe was a kyle tournament. It got cancelled due to conflict with other tournaments in the area. This action watersports tournment has Action people as the contacts, so I believe it is more action than kyle.

That is Correct! The Florida Water Ski Federation is proud to announce that the 2019 State Championships is going to Fluid and Lake Grew this year.

Thank you Kyle for stepping up to make this event happen.

Sorry about the long link but for some reason the hyperlink option refuses to work.

I’m torn between submitting an entry (because it sounds like it will be a really fun event) and keeping the spot open for someone who is usually priced out of tournaments. Personally, I’d love to see it filled with 40 first timers.

Hi Everyone,

We are excited to host class "C" Tournaments at Action Water Sports for skiers like myself that love the sport, want to ski tournaments without breaking the bank, get scores to qualify for Regional's, National's or just have a great time hanging out skiing with other skiers that love our sport.

Our lake skis world class and is excellent for spectating. We include lunch and water for all skiers so you do not need to leave the site to eat. We are working on planting shade trees in the near future however if you have a pop-up tent take it along. We still have plenty of room and would love to have you come.

@turn_n_six I'm sure the running order will clarify some...but there are a couple discrepancies.....

As posted above, the AWSA site shows it as a 3C, then under start time it states 8am 1st round, 2nd round following the 1st with no mention of a 3rd. Is it 2 or 3 rounds?

Also, the AWSA listing is shown as just on the 25th. however the facebook event shows starting 8am on the 25th thru the 26th at 2pm... ?

Is it a 3 round with the 3rd round Sunday?

Hi Scott,

Sorry for the confusion.

The tournament is a 3 round slalom all being held on Saturday the 25th. First round will go through the running order as shown in the attachment below. 2nd round and 3rd round is each skiers choice to turn and burn and do the 2nd and 3rd round at the same time or wait between rounds.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Please come to the dealership to check in and receive your entry gift bag.

It was enjoyable meeting all of you and hosting our first Class C tournament at our lake last week Saturday. We had some first time tournament skiers, a person getting back into the sport after being away for 21 years and many other skiers excited to ski and meet other local enthusiasts. While Kyle will continue to host record events on our lake for the Elite Skiers it is our intention to host Class C events for enthusiasts like myself that do not benefit from the expense of skiing in a record event. Our hope is to help grow our sport and bring enthusiast together for a fun day on the water. The next class C event on our lake is the FL State 3 event in July and our October class C three event.

Have a great week turning buoys!
