Hear a lot of good things about the PTM Edge mirrors but want to know if it is a good fit for the 196. I will probably mount the mirror in the center of our boat where the existing one sits. If you have a 196 and use a PTM where do you mount it and does it block your view out the front? Thanks again Ballers - you are the best! skier2788 Posted May 6, 2019 Share Posted May 6, 2019 @Skoot1123 I have a 196 and also have the ptm edge 140. I mounted right in the middle. I really like it there. You could mount it straight above the driver if you wanted to. In a 196 you sit pretty low and the bracket is pretty tall. On a few of the newer 200 if you mount it in front of the driver all I see is my big head in the way. Go with the ptm edge mirror and bracket. You won't regret it.
