@Shell I’m not sure you understand. @MISkier is ALWAYS cold. Wears fleece at work in July. So the fact that he water skis willingly in March makes him a little weird . ?

Skied first set of the year Tuesday evening in northern Indiana. I did wear a neo top but no wetsuit or drysuit. Water 54 air 67

First pull of the season yesterday. 46deg water; 48deg air. It was great!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a wetsuit under a drysuit. Gotta do whatya gotta do!

Got out yesterday for the first dry suit sets of the year, finally had an afternoon without wind.

Water 47F air 55F. The shady banks still had snow!

Its been a cold windy wet spring in Mich. But I have a bigger issue, still not enough water in our lake to boat. This will be the worst year for us in 23 years.

@sixball are there any estimates on when they will refill Wixom? I had heard possibly by the end of May but I don’t know if that is just hearsay.

We think the talks for the sail of all four dams are going well and hope to be close to signing papers soon. We have been telling people we have hope of a full lake around Memorial day. All is still up to a lot happening and of course some rain to refill Wixom lake. Can't just fill the lake as the down river must maintain flow. And no one truly trust the dam's owner. We had a setback of one month from the hope of May. We go to court on the 3ed in Midland to try for the Michigan lake level order. But even that is not final as far as refilling. Two of the guy's on the negotiating team have put docks in. Makes one think things are good!

We have reached an agreement for the perches of the four lake's dams and are going to start filling our lake next week at this point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thirteen years of work for many people may be coming to a close. Looking at the agreement it will be up to five years to complete all the work to bring the dam's up to 100% compliant. and move all the license but A very bright light at the end of this tunnel!

I moved down from Michigan to North Carolina in January. I skied Mystic Waters on Monday and got my first set in a few weeks ago!!

@2Valve Better get that set in today. 1-2" of snow coming tonight. This sucks, the for sale sign is going out in the front yard.

I have 5 sets in so far at Cottonwood in the Denver area. The weather has been so up and down! Hopefully it settle soon! I hate dry suits!
