Baller ConPexEr Posted February 10, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 10, 2019 Is anyone riding this ski? What is the deal? Reviews?
Baller bigskieridaho Posted February 10, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 10, 2019 I know quite a few people in this ski and they seem to like it. If you talk to @twhisper I am sure he can give you any insight and let you demo one as well.

Baller ozski Posted February 10, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 10, 2019 Riding it over a year now, easily the best ski I have ever been on. Fast side to side, creates space with cracking offside turns and very stable, don't think you could want more in a ski. Takes time to find the right setup like any high end ski, the CG fin from Denali puts the icing on the cake and improves the strengths of the ski considerably. More than any ski I have been on in the past its possible to tune the KD into a state where its almost impossible to run a pass but then on the other end of the spectrum when the numbers are in the right zone nothing is better. ActionSport
@ozski can you share your settings with CG fin?
Baller ozski Posted February 11, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 11, 2019 Sure I'm on a 67 and I've been fine tuning around - 2.495 / 6.855 / .780 / 7 I was shorter and deeper but moving the boots slightly forward has allowed me to run a little shallower and longer which is not what I expected but its working really well. Baller Booze Posted February 11, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 11, 2019 It's a very good ski. No doubt. I got 4 @38 the first set I tried it. But ultimately (me being an old heavy guy LOL), I determined I needed a ski that was a little more free (less drag). For that reason I've shelved the trusty XT and will be giving the Revo full priority for 2019....unless I can get my hands on a 34mph Caldwell/Cord Special. Baller ozski Posted February 11, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 11, 2019 @Booze What ski length are you on? Just curious because the Platinum is anything but slow or draggy.
Baller Booze Posted February 11, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 11, 2019 I tried the 67 and I'm ~190lb and 34mph. It wasn't bad slow, it was just similar to the XT.
Elite Skier twhisper Posted February 11, 2019 Elite Skier Share Posted February 11, 2019 @Booze Planning to add a 68" to the lineup this Summer. May ride just a bit higher on the water for guys that felt the 67" is was a little too much work.

Baller skialex Posted February 12, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 12, 2019 I have a 67” KD new, belongs to a friend and it’s for sale. Never been in the water. Shipping anywhere in Europe is cheap if anyone is interested. Unless I try it first and buy it for myself.
Baller PatM Posted February 12, 2019 Baller Share Posted February 12, 2019 I would be interested in this ski, but I am not a tweaker. How is the ski with the factory settings? Willing to tweak a little from there but don't have the patience to play with the settings.
