citrify
Does anyone know the difference? I'm choosing trick boot for my friend's son and I'm confused with these options. It's for REVO BOOT SHELL ONLY, ASSEMBLED. This one https://fluidmotionsports.com/collections/parts/products/revo-boot-shell?variant=36408759308 Thank you! Baller BraceMaker Posted December 18, 2018 Baller Share Posted December 18, 2018 Does he already own a boot system? Revo systems have 2 releases the silvretta 404 or the silvretta 400 and 2 ways of holding the toe of the boot to the plate, toe clamp and toe block. If he already owns a system you need to match that system. Toe Clamp is basically an Aluminum U with a ratchet strap across it and holds the toe of the boot by wrapping over the toe https://fluidmotionsports.com/collections/parts/products/toe-clamp Toe block is a Delrin plate the boot is screwed down into that has a tongue on it that slips into a block on the plate - https://fluidmotionsports.com/collections/parts/products/revo-power-toe-block The two releases are the metal silvretta 400 https://fluidmotionsports.com/collections/parts/products/silvretta-400-release-unit And the plastic 404 https://fluidmotionsports.com/collections/parts/products/silvretta-404-release-unit If he already has a system and needs a bigger boot you have to buy a boot that matches his current one or the parts to mount the boot to his existing plate. Baller Deanoski Posted December 20, 2018 Baller Share Posted December 20, 2018 @Horton, you are crazy the old 400 is all metal and is the most durable of all the silrvetta release. Andy maple used this release they are hard to find. they have very straight arms so you can run your back foot supper close and the bars will not hit your toes like the 450 and 500 do. the 404 with the welded arm and all plastic release are the ones that break. FM selling refurbished 400 and they are bomber!
