trailrider
New to drysuits. Just got an Adrenaline Watersports pro drysuit. Do you fit wrist seal above wrist bone and ankle seal above ankle bone? When putting on, the seal is totally extended. After that I you extend the arm and legs some correct? How much rubber seal cuff should be exposed after pulling the sleeves and legs down. Thanks, Mike
Baller S1Pitts Posted December 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted December 1, 2018 I pull the ankle above the bone but keep the wrist as long as possible to be able to close the glove cinches over top of the seal. ( HO 41 Tails) For some reason if I don't I get water blow by the seals on deep water starts.
Baller KRoundy Posted December 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted December 1, 2018 I do the same thing as @S1Pitts explained. Ankles up above to bone mostly to keep the inside of the boot mostly just my foot and ankle. For the arms I want the gloves to go over the top of the seal. Enjoy your dry skiing!!! Baller Jetsetr Posted December 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted December 1, 2018 As above except I use a thin dive boot inside my Vectors...feet stay toasty warm even with water temps in the upper 30’s. Also go to a thin dive glove below 45 water temp also...cuffs on gloves and boots won’t allow water in on starts or crashes...except OTF- all bets off then!
